I feel like Whitaker and Mayweather both beat him by the skin of their teeth but Floyd struggled with aging Oscar while Whitaker I think outboxed young Oscar.

Its pretty obvious Whitaker > Mayweather.

Floyd didn't beat Oscar by the skin of his teeth, that's a facade, Floyd CLEARLY beat Oscar and Whitaker fought a more competitive fight with Oscar.. A fight that I saw as more of a draw than a win for either... And to say Whitaker is better than Floyd which is implying that he could've actually beat Floyd is another false assumption being that Floyd is 2" Taller, has longer reach, has faster hands and equal boxing IQ I would give the edge to Floyd based on the size difference alone...

Delahoya just mad cause he got whooped by Mayweather. Whitaker only had 3 fights with big name opponents, Delahoya, Trinidad and JCC and he went 0-2-1 in those fights go back and look at his opponents. He almost lost to Roger Mayweather.

Pernal would have stood in front of Floyd and forced Floyd to rush forward and Pernal would avoid all punchs from Floyd all while standing his ground. Delahoya had a tougher time hitting Pernal than Floyd.

Mayweather beat Oscar by the skin of his teeth?

By skin of his teeth do you mean Oscar won no more than 4 Rounds?

Because Oscar-Mayweather was a one sided fight.

I felt Whitaker edged Oscar, though.

Ummm the fact Sweet Pea went 0-2-1 against the big three at that time, was because of boxing politics(more money for trindad, and de la hoya, cuz they were young and up and coming stars w/top rank), not because he actually lost those fights, He won every single one of those fights and he was way past his prime...this is a classic of case of when numbers actually do lie. Watch the tapes and tell me he lost those fights, and if you still feel that way(that he actually lost those fights) then you prolly would be a shoe in for being a NJ boxing judge.

also, mayweather still has time to go broke........... when floyd is completely retired and not fighting to bail him out financially, its only a matter of time till he's another victim of the riches to rags curse.....

i'm not hating, i'm calling it how it's been played out. you can't gamble, have an entourage, waste money like it's never going to end, and not go broke..... the house always wins!

i don't know much about the man finances, but i do know that he himself is his biggest stream of income, and he's almost lost that a few times with his DV's and other court cases.......

if anything the lawyers will suck him dry......

bottom line is this, only time will tell if that will be his fate.

and to be honest, i don't want anyone to lose all of what they have, no matter who, but i wont give two ****s if they do by blowing it on ****** stuff like floyd is doing and other who have gone that route, who isn't joe louis who was SCREWED out his earnings and the others like him who got screwed, BUT I might laugh a bit for the ones who were so egotistical and ignorant to easily blow it all.......

those who made fast cash and end up broke just as fast, never deserved the money in the first place, hence why they went broke........ they know no value of anything, let alone money......

floyd is heading that way pretty fast if you ask me....... you can't argue his track record, sorry floyd joy lovers....... you just can't.
