The only reason Bud is not getting dissed for fights is csuse the guy barely fights. Canelo has had double the amount Bud has in the last 5 years. Buds last fight was a close one at 154 yet everyone seems to forget that is his only fight above 147 and you think he will now be some big threat at 168
    This right here.

People seem to forget Bud is 38 and he has had like 2 fights in the last 3 years. he is semi-retired.

canelo is ripe for the taking, he would have been smashed by benny and he knew it, can bud do a job on him? i think the fight will be pretty close

It will be like Benavidez - Andrade. Bud will have some moments with his skills, but Canelo catches him and game over.

Again, Bud is old, barely active and he never fought with so much weight on him. He will be slower than ever. And he was never hit by that kind of shots.

People can say he is better than canelo, could be true, but again, Canelo is younger, stronger, much more experienced at higher weight.

It happens. Some matchups are just decent on paper.

I would never do the Times Square setup again. They had a chance to really use the crowd to pump up the atmosphere, and did not. It felt like it did when you had all of those sparring like bouts during COVID.

Fights aren't good if there isn't a crowd.

Alvarez has higher likelihood of victory against a come forward such as Benavidez

Saul has always struggled with guys who move especially if they jab with it

            Trout
            Floyd
            Erislandy
            Bivol

I just cannot get excited for this. Maybe as time goes on and the promotion truly begins I will get there, but to me it just seems like a cash grab for casuals who only know names. I mean more power to them both. But I just have not been interested ever since it was rumored months ago.

Does anybody actually think Canelo v Crawford is going to produce a fight knowing how fighters have figured out that they should just take the Turki money and run to the bank without breaking a sweat?

The dreadful fights this past weekend prove that fighters aren’t going to take their engines out of first gear and even think of taking any risks. Turki is paying fighters massive purses and getting less than a sparring session at best. Well, let me take that back, sparring sessions are far more entertaining than the fights Turki is staging.

Turki, restructure your contracts and pay fighters based on customer satisfaction. Then maybe, you’ll get real fights and fighters will actually work for their money.

It takes a fool to learn.

It'd be way out of character for TBud to go into survival mode

Last night showed Alvarez still struggles with movement counters and jabbing
