How about Marrio Barrios vs Brian Norman on PBC/Amazon for the unification?

The winner can go for the undisputed next.

    Do you agree with this?

I see no problem making this fight. Norman fights on ESPN but is not signed to Top Rank.

I think that does make a lot of sense. I don't think fans think that highly of either fighter. So them fighting each other can help gain them some credibility and a nice payday before they get destroyed by Boots.

Josh Taylor is coming back May 24 at welterweight. Maybe we could get Boots vs Taylor in the Fall, and then the winners of those fights get each other in the winter or 2026.

Norman is fighting Jin Sasaki next I think. Barrios should probably just get it over with. I think he'll make more losing to Boots than Norman. Or he could just duck as long as possible and try to fight mandatories, since Devin Haney is in #1, so however the Haney/Garcia/Ramirez/Romero stuff shakes out, that's likely who he ends up facing, and there's more money there, especially if it's Garcia. And those are all likely way easier fights than Boots.

Even though they are both champions, i think it is a **** fight. I don't rate barrios one bit.

I would like for those two to unify and then the winner can challenge 'Boots' for the undisputed welterweight crown. However, it seems like Team Norman wants all the smoke with Jaron Ennis for the right amount of fee now.

So we'll just going to have to wait and see. I would love to see Boots to move to 154 though. He could fight Sebastian Fundora, Tim Tszyu, Vergil Ortiz, Bakhram Murtazaliev, Serhii Bohachuk or Israil Madrimov.

IDK how a Taylor fight would be justifiable: he's not with MR, he doesn't have a title, and he's not ranked in the WBA/IBF. Taylor is more likely to face Norman.

Ennis v Norman is the best fight at 147

Barrios is the low hanging fruit and they will cash him out with the highest bidder. On the flip side PBC will have him fight against one of their in-house names to keep the title.
