Also eerily similar is when Crawford demanded Pacquiao to come to 140, instead of fighting him @ 147, just like Boots turning down Vergil Ortiz Jr.! Of course Vergil is not Pacquiao, but I know you get what i'm saying! Beating Vergil would have put him on the path to Superstar!

In a perfect world we'd see fighters of similar weights in the ring as well as the scales.

But certain fighters have the genetics (all races btw) to be able to cut and then massively rehydrate. This means that the fight is not just a competition if skill but also a competition of who has the favourable genetics to rehydrate 2 weight divisions.

1. Thats not the reason he didnt get the Pacquiao fight. Its because Arum would not make the fight. He knew what would happen.

you know that Norman is going to get paid more than 1.7 million when he eventually fights Ennis, right? Why would you ever take the first offer? If the fight falls through, he's only 24. Ennis is the guy that needs the fight. Norman has what he wants. Ennis is desperate to make something happen in the last quarter of his career. Hearn isn't in a good bargaining position here.
