Let’s cut to the chase. If you won’t then I will. It’s obviously the elephant in the room.

They hate Jaron Ennis because he doesn’t look like them.It’s because he’s black.

There I said it. These race fans detest and envy black excellence.

Crawford is one of if not the best fighter in the world. I have followed his career with joy as he stopped everyone for years and was a nasty finisher.

I like Ennis. You don't get to 28 not fighting anyone at all, hyped to the moon and back, without basically everyone questioning you.

I don't get the "black" argument. If a person dislikes black fighters than they don't like the sport. A huge amount of black fighters have been excellent and are P4P all time. Ennis is a good fighter but nowhere near that level yet. Skill wise he is leaky defensively and he also ducked Crawford and Ortiz.

He very well may show out against a big test and people will all jump on the bandwagon. No one gives a crap about a fighters color. If Ennis goes in and stops a few really good to great guys convincingly he will be cheered on. He just kind of looks not as good as hyped.

I hope he ko's everyone over the next few years. Boxing needs it.

I lost respect for you cause you saying I look dumb blah blah just cause I wasn’t overly impressed with an outcome that was likely to occur. Stan wouldn’t be top 8 at 154 and that’s a fact. Thats how deep in talent 154 is right now. 147 is so pathetic that 3 of the 4 champions wouldn’t even be in the top 8 at 154. And that would be counting Stan as still a champ. Maybe bootsy is as good as you say but beating stannaois doesn’t prove it.

No heart at all it’s not like he was getting destroyed and not landing punches in return. Again Stan would be fringe top 10 at 154. He wouldn’t even beat lubin. So as excited as you are about this win. I’m not. It was a fight he was supposed to win against an unknown unproven opponent for not a lot of money. I find it a disappointment when with all the hype and accolades lavished on him I would rather see bootsy in bigger more competitive fights(like he claims he wants but never seems to follow through). Bootsy vs Vergil/crawford/fundora/tsyzu/madrimov/bohachuk/bek/xayas all great competitive fights that would pay bigger purses than Stan. Now he talking about fighting the other 147 champions. It’s not good for the sport. Just my 2 cents

I can’t say I was exited about that fight. Like I said before, when it comes to making a ton of money, Boxing isn’t just about fighting the best, winning what I call FRINGE titles makes one’s resume appear greater than it actually is.
Canelo is lauded as the only man in history to unify the 168 Ibs division. But who did he unify against? Against that resume, Canelo is now spoken of as an ATG.
Crawford unified 140 and 147 but against who. Nobody even remembers who Bud beat at 140 to unify the division.

So while I agree with your sentiments about Boots career, I have to be reasonable and see his team’s trajectory - unify 147 because of obvious reasons before moving to 154. Boots is also just 28 years old, he is in the right path albeit a little late.

Yet you’re super pro Ortiz and there’s literally nothing separating their careers other than the fact that boots is now a unified champ and Ortiz has never held a title.
