Buds over analyzing, could be your under analyzing, there is a window of CWs and stoppages against much bigger guys that also coincides with the Ped accusations and when the CWs stop so do the stoppages, infact he was Koed by a 130 guy that went up to WW, , if you actually analyze Mannys career, there is a major jump in power and it started with Oscar and finished with Cotto, then he went the distance in his next 6 fights, which had random testing and only one CW. Now if the big guys as you say couldnt handle his speed how come he only stopped Oscar drained badly, Hatton had so many things going on from a Coke habit to his wife leaving him to a new trainer and stopped by Mayweather which triggered the whole thing, and then Cotto a CW and one fight removed from being nearly killed by plaster, Cotto never wanted the fight, Arum wanted it, there is an article somewhere where Cotto talks about this, and Cotto left Arum straight after it.
