Walters is a part-time fighter. Dude is always training to lose weight instead of sharpening his craft. Just no commitment to the sport whatsoever. A real shame and waste.

Walters had a few good moments early but the youth and tenacity of Torres made him feel very old soon thereafter. Torres had the aggression to make him feel that age unlike Adorno.Comment

Walters claim to fame was that he chopped down Nonito Donaire and then lost in a spectacular fashion to Lomachenko. Outside of those two fights, he did not really fight the elite opponents. I would also argue that when he beat Donaire, Nonito was a long way from his peak (time wise) and also climbed way too high in weight where he could not really hurt his opponents which means that Walters best win is questionable in my eyes.Comment

I thought it was a bit of a bizarre ending. Walters obviously turned around and quit after getting hit. Why did the ref give him a count and allow him to quit in between rounds? I know Chris was saying something along the lines of letting the old man quit with dignity on his own terms, but that's not rule.Comment
