You didn’t answer my question. I never said Shakur brings Tank a bigger payday. Shakur is a bigger name than both Roach and Martin. Shakur is ranked 3rd at 135 after Tank and Lomachenko.
When you say Tank’s last 8 opponents speak for themselves, you’re saying guys like Hector Garcia, Isaac Cruz, Romero, Martin, Roach are all better than Shakur? Not a single one of them is ranked higher by any sanctioning body nor regarded to be better than Shakur by any boxing analyst.

Whatever transpired between Shakur and Haney has nothing to do with Tank but since you mention it, Haney lowballing Shakur is an old tactic we’ve seen many many times whenever someone is scared to fight. Roach fought great and I thought he won by 2 points WITHOUT the KD. He was robbed. I knew they were gonna call it a draw by the 8th round. I was disgusted

Haney made his biggest payday when he went to Australia both times. His made $2.8 million in the first fight. Last year, Top Rank had the highest bid for Haney’s next fight. Guess how much it was? $2.4 million. Which means Haney would have probably made about $1.5 million.
Haney is not a boxing draw. It’s that simple so he could have gone to any country to fight a local fighter and made crazy money than he would make in the US unless no hopers.

The examples you gave are still not comparable. Floyd was the B side vs Oscar but he still made upwards of $20 million.

Haney is not a star and depends on other bigger names to make money. Haney is NOT a bigger star than Shakur. I know you don’t believe he is.
