They need Turki to make this one. Tank has either Shakur or Zepeda as Mandotory. He has no other options 135 or move up to face the Winner of Rayo and Pitbull.

These days Eddie spends more time playing matchmaker when he should be showing his paymasters at DAZN that he can be a Promoter who can turn a profit after the millions DAZN has wasted in the DAZN/ Matchroom experiment.

Eddie spends more time signing fighters that can be used as opponents for Canelo, Haney, and all the 140 star fighters. That’s why he signed Berlanga, Haney. Boots, and Matias, all losers who he thinks is making the suits at DAZN happy.

      Lets check:
Berlanga, Eddie signed him because he knew Canelo was looking for another easy fight. Berlanga is a bust.

Haney, Eddie saw Ryan as the money machine he is and wanted some of that action. He surely got the action part.

Boots, he should have known that Crawford was not interested in fighting Boots. Now Boots is in a division with no big money fights and very weak opponents. But, DAZN will have to dig into there pockets again to pay Boots and fix another Eddie mistake.

Mathis, Eddie saw Mathis as the bogey man at 140. He convinced the suits at DAZN that big fight were coming against Tank, Shakur, Teo, Ryan, and Haney. What he got is another failed signing which has become common for Eddie.

All four boxers named are bleeding red ink for DAZN. Could he possibly be thinking of matching his mistress Skye against Katie? Or is he trying to convince Turkie that a third AJ fight with Usyk could be the charm?

Yeah, I expect it too. Stevenson is small, pillow-fisted, not a killer puncher, disengages often and so on. Tank won't take Pitbull, rain or shine.

Tank beat pitbull with a broken hand two thirds of the fight. The rematch won't even be a contest. Same results or even a stoppage

Pitbull Broke Tank's hand with his Chin. With a 8 week training camp and at 140 he will break both of Tank's pussie hands.

When Eddie signed Andrade, Saunders, etc., you could tell he was loading up the stable to keep Canelo's fights in-house. Eddie's matchmaking claim-to-fame is Anthony Joshua holding 3 of the 4 major titles and being universally recognized as the best heavyweight on the planet lol

I think one of the ways the original DAZN model failed was paying astronomical purses without a firmer hand in the matchmaking, which should've been contractually binding. The best middleweights on earth under one roof, and nobody fought anyone they didn't want to. It seems, Turki picked up on it and is now pulling these fighters from their promoters, setting purse expectations, and giving them very specific fight-to-fight career trajectories in the event they win or lose. I think that model could work because the fighters have something to train for and it'll eventually get everyone under the same promotion so that the best fights and most money gets made. Guess we'll see

Would love it but doesn’t seem likely. I think it’s a Pitbull rematch, assuming he wins, then the Shakur fight would make more sense.

Eddie's saying this because Tank is running out of options.

All of his big money fights are slipping away because these guys are fighting each other and losing their 0s (the best way to lie to a casual). Teo, Ryan, and Devin all have to rebuild. Loma did that with the KO of Kambo, but he's out for now. Berinchyk has a belt but isn't known. So, that just leaves Shakur, the only one left that can drum up enough interest for a decent payday

Shakur isn't a draw, but his fans fall in the same demographic as Tank's, and that's what sells the fight. The fact that Tank's fans know who Shakur is and what kind of threat he poses puts this fight in the running to clear 500K in buys

                    EDIT:
We know how Top Rank treats it's fighters on the outs. Don't buy that crap about people leaving the arena early because the fight was boring. They always do that towards the end so that they don't get stuck in stadium traffic. That event drew over a million in viewership on ESPN
