Did Kovalev try to appeal those low blows - if not he should have done. As I said at the time, I think Ward would have got him out of there anyway but the corrupt ref did a dis-service to Ward and Kovalev and the fans

I'm pretty sure that there was an appeal. Kovalev's manager and what's her name stated they were going to appeal the decision. But never in the history of the sport (as far as I know) has an appeal in Nevada ever been ruled to do away with the standing decision. The Nevada State Athletic Commission is a joke and arguably the most corrupt state agency in the country.
