Weight bully is fan BS, you have a weight to make its your choice what that is so you take it or leave it, if a guy is bigger and makes the same weight, that just means you should be in a lower weight class or he is hurting himself, in the ****** world of fans if he wins he is weight bully if he loses he was drained, fan ignorance always creates a narrative that distorts reality to suit the narrative.

I think you're wrong there my guy. I know lots of guys in the business who do not like these weigh ins and consider it close to cheating.

Its within the rules it cannot be cheating its professional advantages, as I said, they have choices to agree or do not agree to the criteria of a fight, IF the other guy is bigger yet he makes the weight, its a professional advantage just as reach height strength speed are profession advantages and not cheating because they were born with these attributes, the weight classes in boxing have a range of overall poundage designed to group similarly sized guys within limits, if you are naturally at either end of that range you will be bigger or smaller in that class, that's not cheating that's the difference in people inside a weight range.

they are not called out because we have no clue really what guys weigh in the ring now

we think we have some idea but thats not knowing

there would be some very big surprises i would say

people used to say that canelo was too small to fight ggg at MW and he dropped his belt to avoid him for years, but actually canelo even at 154 often came in fight night at 170 - 172, actually heavier than what ggg was himself at fight night, usually **** on 170 or so for him

Some examples: Floyd, Canelo, Jermall, D Benevides, Nery. I’m certain there are more.

There is a sport within the sport of boxing at being good at dropping weight that I don't love, BUT to me the real issue isn't the rule that everyone has to weigh within a certain range a day before the fight. The problem is that there are very few rules about what guys weigh in the ring on fight night.

Andrade is trash though. And weight can only do so much for you.

Zurdo’s weight couldn’t help him vs Bivol, even if he had 15-20lbs on him.
