Spence’s list of opponents that he beat at 147 shyts on the opposition that ggg beat at 160 and it’s not even close. Canelo’s best win is a judges assisted win against a 36 year old with no significant wins outside of Danny Jacobs in a close fight. Gtfoh ya dumbass.caneloswifesboyfriend likes this.

Why the hell anyone thinks he'll beat Canelo is beyond me.
Idk anything about Morrell at the elite or top level. He hasn’t fought anyone of note. I know everyone keeps mentioning him as a force with his 9 fights but I can’t mention him in the same sentence as Canelo or Benavidez.
Andrade though? Yes, Andrade has about as poor of a resume as Morrell. He may as well just have 9 fights himself.

But as a result of that (and some of his own doing as well) are we really going to pretend he has a stellar list of opponents he defeated? And it’s not a better list than who Spence has beaten.Last edited by TheOneAboveAll; 09-29-2023, 10:30 PM.

OK, fair enough. You at least acknowledge that he should’ve won 2/3 against Canelo and that he was largely avoided during most of his MW championship run. Whether or not his resume has the same name recognition as Spence’s, he absolutely was the more dominant fighter. GGG wrecked all but the most elite guys he fought until he got old. What else could he be expected to do but emphatically knock these guys out? Though he remained undefeated, Spence had some very close and competitive fights that revealed flaws (slow feet and hands) which everybody should’ve acknowledged before he fought Crawford. I like Spence and acknowledge him as a strong unifierd champion at welterweight, but GGG was special.

Jose Nápoles, one of the ATG welterweights, tried moving up once versus Carlos Monzón, perhaps the ATG middleweight. Didn’t turn out so well. I’d say the same thing would happen to Crawford versus Alvarez.
