He could fight Charlo GGG and Joe Smith this year and clowns would still say he's ducking this guy or another.

"If you look at his record, he has not beaten anyone, the most he has done is a win over Anthony Dirrell, who for me is a champion who did not have a great run, somewhat mediocre at 168 pounds," Reynoso told Diego Benavides.
Cmon, even canelo fan boys have to know this is bullshet when he’s fighting a guy who beat no one that anyone ever heard of, and the biggest win of any of the guys he fought at 168 was when smith beat a washed up Groves. Just admit it’s a dangerous fight and the risk isn’t worth the reward since Benavidez no longer has a title. Reynoso stays trying to take fans for dummies. Probably because he knows that’s what canelo fans are.Elastic Rec0il

Is Benavidez a threat to Canelo? Yes, I believe him to be the most dangerous opponent at 168 or below.
Does Benavidez currently bring anything to the table? No, he has no belt. He has a weak resume. He has a bad reputation from missing weight and doing *******.
Frankly David needs to put in more work to make the fight attractive. That's the business side of boxing. At least fight Caleb Plant or keep dogging Jermall Charlo in public until he stops being a p-ssy.
Outside of that all David can do is put himself in position to be Canelo's mando and hope the fight is ordered eventually.Last edited by ShoulderRoll; 12-29-2021, 05:00 PM.

Not sure what people don't understand here. If you don't have a title or are not a mandatory that he needs to fight, he probably is not wasting his time on you. GGG may be the only one he would entertain because it would bring the most $$$alexoneness likes this.

Did anybody else notice that Reynoso admitted “he’d be a very difficult opponent for Saul”? Or did I read that wrong?
