    Burns V Moses

Watched the Moses V Acosta (6th rnd KO for Acosta) fight on youtube (watch out for the bias african commentator, he's rather funny)and some other highlights and seen enough of Moses to worry that he may give Burns a bit of trouble. Hoping I'm being mislead, I'll be there!

Seems to have good speed and half decent reflexes. Not bad on his feet either, showed decent lateral movement. It was a strange KO, maybe got him high in the temple region, didn't look dangerous.

He has a decent left hook but is wide open to a straight right down the pipe due to a very low held left hand. Record suggests he can **** but really hard to judge as I've no prior knowledge of him or many of his opponents.

    Whats others thoughts and predictions??

Its the only fight of his ive seen too but based on that single performance and the fact that Acosta is the only name i recognise on his record im picking Burns, i think he gets a stoppage as well, he is sitting down on his shots more and looking the part. Im going btw, hoping to get backstage and meet Ricky too.....That would be ace

he looks good enough to give a star fighter some trouble, but i think he will have alot of trouble with Burns' jab cause he does throw very wide shots, and ricky's jab is fast and straight down the middle. i plan on doing some more research though before betting on this fight.

GOod thread. . . Not many people recognize that Moses is a lot better than many believe. It wasn't long ago when he was considered a top prospect at lightweight. Acosta is a VERY good boxer; one of those rare boxers who can generate more power off the backfoot and off the ropes. I wouldn't count that loss against him too heavily. . .

I personally think the odds are off; Moses should be around a +200ish. He's not as good of a pure boxer as Burns, but he packs more of a punch, and can be very awkward. . .

His resume definitely leaves more to be desires, as Acosta is his only world class opponent, and he was KO'd by him in 6. . . I still think this could very well be Burn's most difficult fight style wise (as he surprised me by how he had the perfect gameplan and execution for katsidis and martinez). . .

Still favor Burns to take control with his jab, and outbox him going down the stretch, but definitely can't completely write of Moses.

Lol it was funny because outside the Aberdeen ballroom my uncle saw Lee coming and he asked for a pic and i jump in with my fist next to them lol ... and Lee told me I ruined the pic..

My family knows his relations and we went back to Lee's uncles house... He has a son that looks exactly like Lee
A good old Dingwall! Spent my 21st birthday in Dingwall watching my footy team (Dundee) get pumped off County in the pouring rain.

I love the little pub at the train station!
