The stop the tires group does seem to be basically a partisan group of Trump supporting Truckers but it not looking like they been particularly effective so far (the apparently wildcated on the 11th), nor that they represent the viewpoints of the trucking industry as a whole.
Hobbled, ironically, by the weakening of the Unions.

Stll I can see these guys' point on the Fracking thing. From an environmental standpoint I'm very much opposed to fracking but there's little doubt that there will be a significant cost to the US economy in the short to medium term. Definitely a thorny issue..
Most likely I'd imagine the political and economic fallout from an all out ban would make it unlikely, so probably the most dire of the economic warnings ain't likely to materialise but even the proposed ban on fracking on federal lands would be fairly significant I think.Last edited by Citizen Koba; 11-17-2020, 12:58 PM.
