Statistics show that there is a shortage of truck drivers for the year 2019. Currently, Canada reports being short around 25,000 truck drivers while the US reports a whopping shortage of around 60,000 drivers. This is predicted to increase over the next few years.
Smh. Larry thinks there would be a line of people that want that job?? That’s a thankless job that kills families. It’s not a desirable job at all

Good luck as a scab crossing those teamsters picket lines.

You'll also need a CDL license which will require formal training.

Our costco is a mess. They're out of everything and don't even think about TP or paper towels.

Even the cars themselves are trucked in!

I remember during the early days of Covid that was one of the big fears, an interruption of trucking services.

They feared the disease would ravage truckers and they'd be dead or to sick to work, hence the interruption.

              Dude, he's the epitome of a "******" ******** voter.

They simply cannot grasp basic economic concepts like this.

Gruber is an arrogant elitist, but he spoke the truth and was dead honest when it came to his side's voters.

Dayuum, if they strike, they wont be buying as many hoes or speed as they are now.

Truck stops will loose a lot of bidness.

Its a tough job for sure, and unless you got your own rig, you working for little money over long hours.

I knew a few truckers who often added a few kilos to each load to make ends meet, but thats risky!

Not everyone can drive an 18 wheeler . You have your CDL's? Ever driven with a trailer? Ever even driven something with air brakes? There's tons of people that can't drive a manual or even use a damn turn signal.

Most big commercial trucks won't be striking it will be private owned. This won't really do much except hurt these people's own pockets. It is kind of dumb tbh.
