This is a different kind of year. There's a pandemic going around, if you've heard about it. That's the only reason there are so many mail in ballots. It was out of concern for people getting the Covid in crowded polling areas with only 1 days worth of time to vote.

What's the process for receiving a mail in ballot, are they just sent out to everyone? Does this happen every time?
