I'm glad I didn't buy that ****. My wife might think I'm a f4ggot if she walks in and saw me play the game with that scene on the background.

      Because that happened.

There were people giving an honest take on the game, giving a pros and cons style of review. But if you didn’t score it a favorable, raving, review, your review gets blocked.

People’s defense to that was, that the game was not out long enough and how could they have finished it already.

Mind you, the same review sites were allowing positive reviews to go through at the same exact time.

The game is heavily protected in general because of the LGBT community. The 94 score is skewed and manipulated by the media.

Got something bad to say about the gameplay even if your review is genuine and not about LGBT? Good luck with that.

Makes you wonder how many critics were told to keep their mouths shut with their negative reviews.
In your opening post you clearly immediately quoted and criticised naughty dog studios for merely having a character or sub plotline in and around LGBT. Your resentment is largely at the mere character and plotline. I pointed out films, games, TV shows, it would be more abnormal for such topics not to occur in them.

Don't now try and back track and say oh I'm actually just annoyed with some review sites. You don't have any evidence that some sites blocked users whom didn't review a game well. Nor mention how big those sites are, ther s hundreds of independent game websites out there, so 1 or 2 doing that would hardly be a conspiracy even if your claim had some truth to it.

Another thing that would be strange, is if the sequel to one of the literally best rated games ever, somewhow got rated badly and was really poor.

Face it, your hangups have been exposed and you just don't like a gay character or plotline on your TV. With a film or TV show you'll probably turn it off. But with a game you can't. Oh well. By a game featuring no modern day themes whatsoever that suit your narrative.

Imagine a 13 year-old playing the game, in their bedroom, then their mum or dad walks in ..... "are you winning, son?" .... then just sees Abby getting dry humped in the most awkward and weird sex scenes in a game! ever!

I'm really not the type to care about such things. Honestly, that's none of my business. I tolerate everyone as long as they are minding their own business like myself, and not hurting anyone. But while i'm at home, minding my business, watching TV, I have to see gay scenes in every show now.

And honestly, I do not even care for sex scenes either (male on female). If I want to "watch" any of that, there are dedicated websites for that. I can watch a movie like e.g. The Godfather or Blade Runner all day, which have nothing to do with sex. But these new tv shows involving LGBT have a lot of sexual content involved. As if LGBT = sex. All of these shows that involve the gay community involve it in a sexual manner. As if gay people can't just be in some normal drama, or crime, or sci fi show? If they are involved, they have to be involved in some sexual way.

For example, i'm gonna say Gotham did a great job at making Penguin gay without making that the focal point of his character, or making him be in gay scenes. He was just a gay villain in a crime/drama, and that's fine with me (and the actor himself is gay too). Changing an established character's sexuality usually won't have a good look, but I did not care about that in that show because the writers didn't make it a big deal. Dude was just gay and that's it, but he was still trying to be a boss of the underworld or whatever. That was the focal point of his character. He was still the same raging, violent Penguin that had mental issues and was very intelligent. They didn't make his sexuality 90% of his character, more like 10%.
You hit the nail on the head there...... in the UK even adverts are showing two men playing with children in adverts, or mixed-race parents pushing soap powder..... every soap (TV drama) has a black guy or a gay guy living in the street...... it's ****ing so on-the-nose and I just laugh at it now.

It's a warped version of reality being pushed, and I think it is to divide us..... so the powerful can take more control.

In the opening post, I said that the media is protecting this game due to having a transgender character.

There is 100% evidence that review sites were blocking negative reviews, that had nothing to do with LBGT bashing, and allowing positive reviews.

Actually, no. I already spoke on the Penguin in Gotham and how they did a great job with him (and this isn't a new praise exclusive to this thread).

My second favorite video game series out is Borderlands. My favorite game character is Axton, a bisexual soldier. Not that I need to prove anything to some SJW freak.

Face it, you just want everyone to like everything that has to do with ***** even if it's inorganic and forced. That's not going to happen as much as you try to point fingers and accuse others of 'hating gays' because they didn't like the way a character was forced into a game/tv show/movie.

You are the type of person who give me a reason why I feel insulted at being called a *******, and or siding with ********s. There is no back tracking in my post, you are just playing spin doctor. In fact, it would not even surprise me if you are just trolling. Because the way you come off is definitely like one of those exaggerated SJW fans people speak of.

These days it's hard to find any movie or video game that doesn't inject some form of virtue signalling. The twitterverse is mostly to blame for this. Developers and movie studios think a million tweet likes translate to sales, but they never do. How many game franchises have been ruined by people who don't even play their games:

Battlefield 5: female soldiers in WW2 because the developer felt guilty when his daughter said why there are never any female soldiers in games. Millions of sales lost, trashed by fans and now pretty much dead - no more updates.

Wolfenstein: the tough as nails archetype male **** killer action hero replaced by his two tween daughters. Trashed by fans. Franchise is now effectively dead.

The Last of Us 2: the father figure and symbol of patriarchy literally has his head caved in by a buff female with no rhyme or reason. Trashed by fans. Sony sent fake DMCA legalese and was behind the shutdown of several popular YouTubers, then turned off comments on the trailer along with Druckmann's LOU2 reveal video. However, they forgot to turn off comments for the Last of Us Part One PS4 remastered version play-through by Naughty Dog and it's nothing but fans smashing them in every comment.

Netflix is the biggest offender in this regard. EVERY original Netflix show or movie panders to the LGBT crowd. They have shows aimed at kids which practically scream, "Being Straight is Boring and Old". They've even started to cull their library, removing entire episodes and seasons that are deemed "politically incorrect". Wanna watch those "It's Always Sunny" episodes with the Lethal Weapon parodies? Tough ****.

The BBC is doing the same thing, removing episodes of Little Britain, which I never found particularly funny, but what a disgrace. And I'm from an ethnic minority myself, but when they produce movies such as "Mary, Queen of Scots" and have black people, latinos roaming the streets, it's intellectually dishonest and poisonous to young minds, who see this revisionist drivel as historical fact.

I don't care what side of the political spectrum you align to, this pandering is so obvious. It used to be subtle. Not anymore. Flash in Spider-Man, a blue eyed American now an Indian....please, I'm brown myself, but that is just ****ing ridiculous. What happened to just writing a decent story without marking checkboxes. So many great shows and movies could never be made in today's climate of cancel culture and snowflakes: The Sopranos, Deadwood, The Wire, Tropic Thunder.....it's just ****ing depressing.

                Look maybe I went over the top and I wasn't trying to aim all my first replies posts to yourself. But your opening post did say this;

I question the integrity of that critic score and wonder if those critic score were either purchased or those critics were scared of speaking out against the games ******ity due to it having a transgender in it.

Now you're entitled to question something but you just called the game ****** for it having a transgender. What's the big issue? Where's the real controversy? You are saying sites are reviewing a well renowned game that scored highly in the past, has done so again, but you question it this time as them feeling they must, as it has an LGBT matter in there. I think that's silly.

I've already heard people say the game is brilliant and amazing, better than the first. Two friends yesterday infact. Friends I know are very fair and open minded.

You say some reviews have been suppressed that were negative reviews but not even going into the LGBT aspect. Okay, probably happened and happens online a bit. I shouldn't think it's a worrying high occurrence.

What I would suggest more likely is there's been more professional reviews of the game by the professional reviewers, and tendencies by the public to rate it too highly for having an LGBT theme in, and others rating it very lowly for having LGBT themes in. Of the latter some constructive, others not. Of the constructive ones, I'm afraid some even of them will have subtle prejudices influencing them.

I don’t have PS4, so I never played this, but I heard it is an amazing game. I’ve heard nothing but good things and that it’s one of the best zombie games that has ever been made.

I'm praying GTA 6 doesn't go this route, it's expected to be released next year.
