However there is some deep embedded racism in most of us however small which psychological tests on subconscious thinking shows.Albeit some have more racism than others.

I believe people can change though but noone is pure and never will be.I see life as constant work in motion .Some people constantly want to better themselves but others no and are content to stay in the dark. Ultimately I think happiness comes from being healthy in mind and body and in sync with our natural world .

Yeah I do believe in cognitive bias and conformity bias which subconsciously affect us all. Sort of an evolutionary throw back which gets gradually shaken off through our life experiences.

I think it's just about being self aware and having emotional intelligence.

I mean I was hearing from a black activist who was critical of white protesters saying slogans like 'I can't breathe'. People were getting annoyed and saying they were just showing solidarity. But I agree. If you're a white middle class woman and you are chanting that you have a staggering lack of self awareness.

I think Pope Francis said something which for me was spot on:

"From my point of view ,God is the light that illuminates the darkness, and a spark of divine light is within each of us".

Like the style, clothing? You're rejected by all races.

Like the music? It's not yours why you listening to it?

Try and date a black girl? Black.men pissed.

Want those Nikes? Naw you don't belong.

" You trying to talk black now?" You ain't black!

Not to hate on your story because it's a good one. But I got a lot of shiet growing up a poor white boy living among black kids.

I didn't get any chit in football and basketball tho. Weird how that one worked. Maybe because of my size and it's a team sport.

              Key word, team.

If you knew about reggae, you would know that Snow, Dominique, and Radigans were embraced and many others. Japanese are huge in reggae.

However, the issue is when Whites start to say Eminem is king of rap and Iggy is the queen of rap. When people start pretending like Timberlake is better than Usher is where black people have a problem or Bieber is better than Chris Brown.

When white girls and white guys are seen as "setting trend" wearing du-rags and braids things become a problem. You don't call black girls and latina girls in their loops earrings ******, but call it high fashion when white girls are wearing them. That's an insult to black people. Doing this type of thing over the decades has caused many low-lifers to come under the impression that blacks have no value and never created anything.

I wouldn't be surprise with your tough guy attitude. No wonder you seem to have a chip on your shoulder all the time.

On a team you prove your worth. On my high school sports team, the white guys just weren't good enough to make the team, yet they went to complain to the principal. Guess what? The principal came out with a rule that anyone failing a class, can't be on the team. To his surprise, everyone was passing their classes.
You're both too caught up in the race war. ******ed opinions.

In as much as we're all subconsciously biased/wired to show more affection to things that represent us, mirrors our reflection and commonalities - I try as much as possibly to show empathy by putting myself in other people's shoes. I ask myself from time to time before taking sides that what would I've done if I were in the next person's shoes? What if I were that little kid in Cambodia, Fallujah, Syria, Kosovo, Sierra Leone, Nicaragua, Congo, etc. that grew up seeing so much violence, utter destruction and anarchy - how would I have turned out? So I give everyone that benefit of the doubt and try as much as possible to be tolerant.

I'm not perfect but I'm trying. I think with humanity in general - it's pretty much impossible to shake off tribalism. And tribalism comes in different forms: it could be based on race (the biggest form), class, religion (fanatics), language, ethnicity, community (gangs) and all forms of commonalities.

In the last few years, I've been trying to shed every form of prejudice. I started with race (not there yet) because I was raised around all races and different cultures and I've people whom I call "brothers" that don't look like me. I've also been travelling a lot lately and learning new cultures. The beauty of travelling the world is that the most deprived/disadvantaged people that don't look like you are always the kindest and most loving. And it shows the complexity of humanity and the more you think you know, the more ignorant you're once you make the world your oyster.

I don't think I'll get there in this lifetime because there are loads to unlearn and it's human nature to feel more comfortable around people you've more in common with. But I shall continue to improve on treating people how they treat me - not what we've in common.

Just as a loose example... I remember when I was like 7 years old I was waiting to be seated at a denny's and there was this huge black dude ripped to shreds. And while we were waiting I guess he noticed me staring at him, because I had never seen anyone as big as him.

He bumped me on the shoulder and was like "what's up little man, and he flexed his arm.. he was like if you want this, you gotta eat your fish and vegetables." I was like... yes sir... and that stayed with me my entire life. I've always been dedicated to my nutrition.. and now I do the same thing and teach other little kids the same way he taught me.

How can I be hateful against any race when I've been inspired and my life made better by every single race? How can I downplay their value, when they've been so valuable to me.

If there are 1 million worthless people of a certain race, and just one good man that made an impact on me, I will judge that one million by that one good man because it's undeniable proof that their goodness exists.

Remember when you cried, “enjoy your ban.” I notice that you’re always posting near bans whenever a poster does get banned, so I’ll assume you’re affiliated to some mod..or perhaps a mod..

Like when you told me “enjoy your ban” when I said I don’t like dog eaters, and I even cited that there are protests and organizations within Asian markets than want dog slaughtering banned. You guys cried racism...

Yet this thread is advocating racism against the Chinese BUT it’s ok to not be racist because an individual had a good experience with swolle black guy as a child. Lol. I find such a story ridiculous and fictitious..

This thread is rather weird and obnoxious. The exploitation of Chinese labor and manufacturing is what has driven American consumerism strong.

Not at all. But the OP is a moron. He makes an opinion regarding black?people as if theres an inclusive behavior or type that defines a black person. He says he doesnt judge them nor is supposedly racist due to an experience from Childhood. Yet realistically when youre an adult youd be more objective... and therefore not claim the Chinese as bastards?or you cant trust them...lol. The Chinese have many different ethnicities and cultures within their own nation just like blacks worldwide vary. This is common sense.

The OP is making an obnoxious claim while promoting Xenophobia. When I made my claim about Asian dog eaters?was specific, and again I cited, that there are many protesters and organizations in Asian territories against the slaughter of Mans Best Friend yet I was considered racist.
