Like the style, clothing? You're rejected by all races.

Like the music? It's not yours why you listening to it?

Try and date a black girl? Black.men pissed.

Want those Nikes? Naw you don't belong.

" You trying to talk black now?" You ain't black!

This is not it. Blacks are welcoming every race to their own detriment. It is just that others will take what blacks share with them and also take credit for it. Some will profit off it and not give back. Eminem was embraced in Hip hop, likewise Vanilla Ice. If you knew about reggae, you would know that Snow, Dominique, and Radigans were embraced and many others. Japanese are huge in reggae.

However, the issue is when Whites start to say Eminem is king of rap and Iggy is the queen of rap. When people start pretending like Timberlake is better than Usher is where black people have a problem or Bieber is better than Chris Brown.

When white girls and white guys are seen as "setting trend" wearing du-rags and braids things become a problem. You don't call black girls and latina girls in their loops earrings ******, but call it high fashion when white girls are wearing them. That's an insult to black people. Doing this type of thing over the decades has caused many low-lifers to come under the impression that blacks have no value and never created anything.

Not to hate on your story because it's a good one. But I got a lot of shiet growing up a poor white boy living among black kids.
I wouldn't be surprise with your tough guy attitude. No wonder you seem to have a chip on your shoulder all the time.

I didn't get any chit in football and basketball tho. Weird how that one worked. Maybe because of my size and it's a team sport.

      Key word, team.
On a team you prove your worth. On my high school sports team, the white guys just weren't good enough to make the team, yet they went to complain to the principal. Guess what? The principal came out with a rule that anyone failing a class, can't be on the team. To his surprise, everyone was passing their classes.

Just as a loose example... I remember when I was like 7 years old I was waiting to be seated at a denny's and there was this huge black dude ripped to shreds. And while we were waiting I guess he noticed me staring at him, because I had never seen anyone as big as him.

He bumped me on the shoulder and was like "what's up little man, and he flexed his arm.. he was like if you want this, you gotta eat your fish and vegetables." I was like... yes sir... and that stayed with me my entire life. I've always been dedicated to my nutrition.. and now I do the same thing and teach other little kids the same way he taught me.

How can I be hateful against any race when I've been inspired and my life made better by every single race? How can I downplay their value, when they've been so valuable to me.

If there are 1 million worthless people of a certain race, and just one good man that made an impact on me, I will judge that one million by that one good man because it's undeniable proof that their goodness exists.
The thing is I think most people think this way. There are horrible, sociapthic people who will hate you, and find any reason to. But pitting races against each other is what those in power have always done, to divide and rule. I think most people are just trying to get through their lives you know?

My best friends in Academy (high school for the yanks) were half-Iranian and half-Chilean....... a white, Arab and South American...... that's why I am not a racist.

My opinions sometimes paint me as one though, especially my disdain for the far-left.

            I like your sentiments.

However there is some deep embedded racism in most of us however small which psychological tests on subconscious thinking shows.Albeit some have more racism than others.

I believe people can change though but noone is pure and never will be.I see life as constant work in motion .Some people constantly want to better themselves but others no and are content to stay in the dark. Ultimately I think happiness comes from being healthy in mind and body and in sync with our natural world .

To be fair “better” in terms of Music is very subjective. There is no better or no worse because there’s no definitive measurement of talent and even that is subjective. Different music resonate ms differently within each individual. One man’s NWA is another mans Cannibal Corpse. There’s general right or wrong and no good or bad in art.

There is no ownership of musical styles. A lot of the route of hip-hop music obviously comes from sampling and they sampled a lot of white music, not just black music. Sampling was first done by Pierre Schaeffer back in France in the 40’s. Specific sampling machines existed years and years before Hip Hop.

Even hip-hop is just a different style and aesthetic for things people have been done for hundreds of years. A social narrative over some music has been happening in music and theatre for as long as it existed.

It’s like the thing about all rock ‘n’ roll music goes back to blues music. and so it was invented by black people... well that’s true if you cut off history at convenient point for the story. but then you have to completely disregard the fact that blues music actually roots in European folk music, The structure of blues actually when it comes to music theory comes from European folk ballads on stringed instruments that come from Europe.

My point is there is no ownership of any musical style and talent is a matter of opinion. In every genre of music that exist today in the western world, both black and white people have played a big part, but people just repeat what they hear and don’t understand that.

I'm not racist because when I look in the mirror I don't see human perfection incarnate staring back at me.

I don't congratulate myself on my intellect, my creativity, my fundamental importance to the very fabric of this world. If I was a superhero I'd be average man. The man with the ability to be dead on the 50th percentile in f.ucking anything.

I don't think everyone should listen to me and assimilate my views. But I will listen to theirs and form my judgements. I'll love my family properly which will make me understand how other people love theirs and how important we are to one another. Conversely, I understand My kid isn't special. But she is special to me.

                So basically I am not a c u n t.

Thats a shame! Quite honestly I had the opposite experience growing up a minority in New York City. I encountered racism but I could always go to my Black and Spanish friends if I thought it was a problem.

We did everything together, I never felt outside the group. And we would fight for each other at the drop of a hat. One time I was at my job selling papers and this guy threatened me (an adult) I told my friends and waiting to escort me home were a group of many fellow friends, at least ten, all holding our weapon of choice: the Louisville Slugger!

It truly depends to a large extent, where one grows up. We are conditioned by what we experience... In my case I could not harbor racial enimity if I wanted to do so! I saw with my own eyes growing up in East Harlem, that we all have the same experiences. I would have to literally deny what I experienced if I decided one day to hate any group of people.

Hating is after all, a way of dehumanizing.
