    Then you’ve saved a dog.

Have you taken in a stranger and gave them a home?
    Probably not.

So you choose dog over human.
    Don’t lie to us again.
    A hole.
How do these things equate to the same things in your head?

Please go through the rationale. I'm genuinely interested.

    You're an awful poster

Truth has perturbed you emotionally has it?

Have you have a dog a home before?
      Probably yes.

Have you gave a stranger a home before?
Well as the old adage goes, the truth hurts pal!

It was just going tit for tat.

But yeah, what you've said there makes no sense. Doesn't matter how many times you repeat it.

With that much stuff going through your mind I know you must be a yo tight person. That’s good you live in Scotland. Disregard everything i said since it doesn’t apply to you.

However if you did live in America you would understand more. Down south a lot of ppl use pits and American bulldogs as yard protection dogs and fighting dogs. Up north everbody has a pit.

I will stay it. You honestly can’t control a dog 100%. I don’t care what anybody says. Those bully breeds and others tend to snap eventually. There’s too many PitBull stories to even start.

That’s what my dog is behind a fence on my property cuz you are right he is a liability.
I am always relaxed..... it might come across over the internet but I'm good lol

The reason I reacted strongly to your post was because of personal experience..... my dog had its first vet stitches at 4 months old, right between the eyes, from a Collie..... she just went up and sat while the dog sniffed its face, then SNAP! horrible wound and vet appointement, cost me 65.

Next one, walking down the street about 1 minute from my house, dog (pitbull) runs from behind me and goes for my dog, who then goes mental and slips the collar, rns away..... I have to then fight this pitbull and beat the **** out of it until the owner gets it off me. I don't stay around, I instantly chase after my dog who is running down a main road with oncoming cars......... managed to catch it eventually and get it home.

There have been other incidents, where I have had to step in to protect my dog....... in my experience, males do not bother with her, its females that go for her, as they see her as a challenge, males don't.

For sure I agree with the last bit.... me and you are different cultures and can't compare....... I can only say that if your dog ids off a lead, outside your yard or protection area..... it's you that is responsible, and your fault if it kills anything or injures anyone.

Dogs are loyal to their humans in a way that most people can’t be towards each other

This a well intended but very naive question

Which is exactly what my point proves.

                1) Again, have you ever taken a puppy to your house and given it a home?

                2) Have you ever taken a stranger to your house and given him/her a home?

More than likely, you’ve only done #1.

Which means you chose a dog over a stranger...case closed.

Pretty poor comparison....... humans are more intelligent and you never know their motives (they can even pretend and lie)...... dogs can (mostly) be tamed and learn to co-exist, and most humans can judge if a dog is worthy to be taken into their home and can fit into their day-to-day lives.

Absolute dumb comparison, and any normal human will respond to your dumb assertion "what the ****? you expect me to take a random human into my house?"

It’s obvious you also have taken a dog into your home but not a stranger.
                    Which means you’ve saved a dog’s life before a human’s before.

Lol. It’s okay, people always claim they’ll do one thing but then do another. It’s normal.

how is saving your dog over a stranger a tough decision for anyone

Your dog is your best friend.

Who wouldn’t save their best friend over a random person

People piss on their wedding vows all the time

A dog genuinely feels for better, for worse diehard loyalty towards their person unlike many couples
