Just to be clear, I am not mad at Shakur. He is what he is, an evasive boxer and a counter puncher. The only thing that really surprised me in that fight was how quickly and easily Stanionis and his corner gave up. Even though he landed a few clean shots on Boots he never really went for it and try to hurt him. I know Boots skills were far superior but fighting for two belts at a career high payday...

From my point of view, it looks like Boots is finally maturing. He accepted less money to get a meaningful fight and invested in his future by showing he believes in himself. He was patient in the ring and dissected Stanionis slowly not going for a quick KO and exposing himself to unnecessary counters....
