TBH, I don't think anybody is saving boxing. I've watched less boxing this year than ever before. I don't see a lot on the horizon, either. What's the next fight you're looking forward to? There's a lot of nothing on cinco de mayo. It's months between decent cards these days....

if Norman ends up fighting Boots for more than 1.7 million, then he was correct to wait. This is a much bigger fight if Norman fights Barrios first, and then Boots for undisputed. I have to be honest: I was looking forward to this fight, and was disappointed in the way it ended. Boots did his job. Stan? I guess he got paid. I felt like I watched him go to the ATM to withdraw money....

The obvious answer is that Norman knows he has something Boots wants. It gives him a bargaining position. It really doesn't matter what he made in his last fight. He could take less money for his next 3 fights. He isn't in a hurry. Sure, I'd like to see the fight next. It's going to get down to how...

I expected Boots to win, but I expected a bit more from Stan. He was kind of made to order for Boots, though. As some stated before the fight, his style played right into Boots' strengths.

This is a good fight that I'm looking forward to. It's not a legacy defining fight, though. This is finally a step up fight in the middle of Ennis' career.
