leonard fought benitez, duran twice, hearns, and the 154 pound lineal champ in less than 2 years.. .all prime fighters and all at their actual weight, no bringing guys up or draining them floyd style. it took 8 years for floyd to fight a bunch of old guys and baldomir?

Draining them is actually Pacquiao style but you never complain about that lmfaooo

You will be blocked from my thread until you accept my previous challenges old man.

Who has a better run in terms of consecutive opponents? All of them were either champions or ranked p4p. Cmon, if it's not impressive then it should be a long list.

Bringing up guys? Good fighters move up in weight and beat bigger guys. Floyd, Oscar, Manny and so on moved up in weight a beat good fighters. So we can much discredit fighters like GGG, Kovalev and Loma, since they had to bring up guys up in weight to fight them. GGG was a chasing a fight against a guy a division below him in Canelo. Kovale brought up Ward. Loma brought up Rigo and Marrieaga.

Zab Judah: Fight should've happened years earlier, but didn't because they were friends. Supposedly a heated sparring match ended their friendship. Wouldn't have been as bad if he beat Baldie. A lot of people still had faith in Judah back then and didn't want to accept how limited he really was (myself included).

Baldomir: Not a good fight. Upset against a limited fighter who crumbles under pressure. Should've fought Fartarito instead though in hindsight, it's better he didn't because of the funny wraps.

Oscar de la hoya: Good win though DLH was past prime and relatively inactive. Career wise however it was brilliant.

Ricky Hatton: Good win. While Hatton was better at 140, it's not Floyd's fault. Hatton's team did not want the fight when Floyd was at 140

Marquez: Turds, moved up two weight classes.

Mosley: Good but kind of iffy. One the one hand Mosley was old but on the other, he obliterated Marga****** one year earlier.

Ortiz: You gotta be shitting me....

Cotto: Good win. Cotto's team did not want the fight at 140. Wish it would've happened at 147 in 2008, but I firmly believe Floyd would've won at any weight.

              Guerrero: More turds, filler fight.

Canelo: A bit green and at a catchweight. I don't know how much of a difference those two pounds made but it just makes Floyd look bad.

Maidana (Twice): Not a bad fight. Only reason there was a rematch was because Maidana made the first fight very competitive.

Pacquiao: Great win even though it should've happened years earlier (Not opening up that can).

Berto: Best win any fighter has ever had in the history of boxing. This alone should put Floyd as HOF TBE!

You can sht on Baldomir, Ortiz and Guerrero all you want bu they were all champions and at least top 3 welterweights when floyd fought them. Publications even had guerrero ranked P4P

I'm not saying he has the best resume ever. The point of this thread is that floyd went on a run of consecutively fighting other champions, P4P ranked opposition, and/or Hall of famers. What other run of consecutive opposition can compare????

No one, TBE is USA and USA is TBE

The main problem people had with him fighting Baldie was that they wanted him to fight Margarito instead.

                    Oscar's '95- '99 run was similar-

                    John-John Molina
                    Rafael Ruelas
                    Genaro Hernandez (Younger, fesher version)
                    Jesse James Leija
                    Darryl Tyson
                    Julio Cesar Chavez, Sr.
                    Miguel Angel Gonzalez
                    Pernell Whitaker
                    David Kamau
                    Hector Camacho
                    Wilfredo Rivera
                    Patrick Charpentier
                    Julio Cesar Chavez, Sr. rematch
                    Ike Quartey

He also won ten of these by stoppage.

It's a good run by Floyd but I don't see that it's that exceptional.

I mean, Judah? Who didn't beat Judah when he stepped up?

Guerrero had no significant wins at 147.

It's good but not the best run ever. If so, then the sport hasn't produced much.

Yeah, I mean, it's not that great looking back. Leonard beat way better opposition, including beating Floyd Sr. like a rented mule. That was an atg ass whoopin'.
