Intrigued to see the undercard for this… Parker or Okolie vs Kabayel, Buatsi vs Yarde perhaps? Chisora vs Whyte 3? I hope it’s a good undercard as we’ve already seen the main event and Usyk is so good I’m not sure I can see a different outcome even if they fought 100 times. It’ll still be a good fight though and I don’t think Dubois will stop trying this time. He’ll keep coming and keep throwing until the end, whichever way that comes. Hopefully we’ll find out the full undercard at the launch press conference today. Fingers crossed for a few surprises.

Thought Parker deserved the first shot, but is likely the top fight to make at HW. If Usyk keeps going, and beats Dubois, Parker, Kabayel in succession, I would be incredibly impressed, and it would be great for boxing. The next fighter that might have a decent shot would be Itauma in 2 years!landotter likes this.

Chisora v Parker
Itauma v Okolie
Hutchinson v Parker
Eubank v Aziz
Bentley v Janibek
I think it's too soon for Yarde or Buatsi to fight. Kabayel deserves to be on the show and ideally against a Brit so Okolie or Itauma works. Chisora deserves it too but his 50th is a headliner in its own right so that may count against it happening

I'd also argue that it's not so much about the era being weak or not and has more to do with Usyk being that much better than everybody else, a generational talent.

Good. Now the other top level Heavyweight fighters, mainly Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker can make their moves 'The situation between Oleksandr Uysk and Daniel Dubois was stagnating the Heavyweight Division in my opinion'.
I expect there to be a very strong chance now that Joseph Parker vs Anthony Joshua II 'Happens next. It is the best fight for each of them, because they both have a lot to gain from winning the fight. Parker can avenge a loss, a feat which he has never achieved before. And Anthony Joshua if he is able to get the win, can build back some serious momentum in his career. I don't think anyone in the game right now, would be able to criticise or devalue Anthony Joshua if he was able to beat Joseph Parker at this stage in his career'.
In regards to Daniel Dubois vs Oleksandr Uysk II 'I suppose the rematch had to happen. I personally don't think there was that much controversy in their first fight, and in reality? Oleksandr Uysk won quite a one sided fight. But in makes sense for Uysk to take this fight, while a mass of people who don't really understand boxing? Think Daniel Dubois is suddenly going to blast through Uysk'.
Anthony Joshua took Daniel Dubois best punch in round one of their fight 'Joshua got up with a smile on his face. And continued to fight on while severely concussed. Even while Joshua was in this state, and making uncharacteristic unforced errors? He gradually fought his way back into the fight. If it was not for Anthony Joshua making an uncharacteristic unforced error, and wading into Daniel Dubois's power punch with his guard down after throwing a uppercut. Which ultimately amplified the power of Dubois, and aided in him scoring the knockout. If it was not for those almost statistically anomaly type events from Anthony Joshua, even on his worst night as a professional fighter. I believe he would of systematically beat down Daniel Dubois over the distance.
Note: It happened, Dubois had his Any Given Saturday in reference to the NFL movie: Any Given Sunday: 1999'. Goran Ivanisevic in the sport of Tennis won the Wimbledon Grand Slam as a wild card entry into the tournament in 2001. I am not sure whether he won the tournament on Saturday, but you get my point? That is how I rate Daniel Dubois's performance, a moment in time where? To his credit he had the awareness, to grasp the opportunity to win and execute his absolute best fight'.
Daniel Dubois first effort in trying to beat Oleksandr Uysk I 'Was a by far worst effort than Tyson Fury I & II, Anthony Joshua I & II and Derek Chisora's efforts . I have spoken about this before in my previous posts in quite a lot of detail. But to be really blunt, and to the point? Daniel Dubois was done by the middle rounds vs Oleksandr Uysk I, and he was knocked out by a single jab, from a fighter in Uysk who has never been renowned for is brute strength or punching power. That is quite a accurate description of the fight'.
To conclude: If OIeksandr Uysk has maintained his form 'Then due to now his vast experience at Heavyweight in fighting Super Heavyweights such as Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. I just think Uysk will be too prepared, and battle ready in this rematch vs Daniel Dubois II. Not only are fighters such as Fury and Joshua Super Heavyweight fighters, they are also skill for skill the most competent pure boxers in the Heavyweight Divisions outside of Oleksandr Uysk himself. Daniel Dubois is neither one of the best skill for skill boxers in the Heavyweight Division, and? I also think his punching power is getting overrated'.
It is still a intriguing fight 'As I would like to see what tactics Daniel Dubois and Don Charles will use this time around. I think Dubois was more trained for a distance fight during the first contest. Daniel Dubois weighed in at 233 pounds vs Oleksandr Uysk I, since that fight? Daniel Dubois has been consistently gaining mass, and weighed in vs Anthony Joshua at 248 pounds. Stylistically Dubois is always going to be dangerous in the first half of the fight, but then historically after that point he has gone backwards'.
I think Team Dubois have to come into this rematch and approach the fight 'As a 4 to 6 round fight. Aim to bring heavy bombardment, and attempt to serious hurt Oleksandr Uysk early in the fight like he did vs Anthony Joshua. Those are in my opinion his best tactics to theoretically achieved the win' etc.

Usyk's trunks were not high. The top of his waistband was level with his belly button, which is **** on regulation height. The rules say any punch landed below the navel is a foul. It was a clear low blow. Not borderline... LOW.
