Shakur's the one who's been asking for the fight for months lol, he even signed to fight him before the Farmer fight. The fight got postponed because Zepeda injured his hand in an SD against an old, much smaller Tevin Farmer. Shakur's asked for fights against everybody in the division, but nobody wants to fight him. Devin didn't want the smoke, Loma didn't want the smoke, Tank didn't want the smoke, Frank Martin didn't want the smoke, Pitbull didn't want the smoke, and Schofield didn't want the smoke. If Shakur were an Eastern European called Shakurovich Stevensonov, everybody would be calling him the most avoided fighter in boxing.

Great fight, a classic style match up and is more interesting because of Shakur's hand issues.

It makes it less interesting and potentially more boring imho. It means he's more likely to use his feet rather than his hands. He's not going to be as eager to take advantage of countering opportunities. Hopefully Shakur has been taking care of them.
