He's the one who hires the team. That's one thing that really makes it difficult coaching boxers. They're the boss and where the money comes from. So if they don't want to listen, it doesn't matter who they've got in their corner. The kind of team they choose to surround themselves with tells you a lot about their character as a fighter. And he keeps making choices that say it doesn't matter if he hires the best team in the business; he'll still make dumb choices in the ring and out. Ryan Garcia is another one like that. And when he found someone he wanted to listen to in Mayweather, we got the Garcia version of a shoulder roll, which is one of the worst things I've seen in professional boxing recently.
    Lmao
yeah that was more of a twirl than a shoulder roll
There was an article in here , pretty good read to top it off , about a boxer not listening to his corner and how his trainer turned it on him
Now I know today’s day and age, work is not easy to come by for decent pay but a trainer should have some kind of options although th?fighter himself is the boss
Which I find really wrong for the fighter because unfortunately he’s not getting total all he should cause the trainer can’t do his job properly

Man those were 2 brutal fights for Tszyu, hard to see him coming back to the level he was at vs Harrison and Mendoza, especially if he hasn’t got a different coaching team. Poor bugger eats a lot with his style.

I say it's more because he lost the second time to a complete unknown. People figured murta was some unknown bum and a comeback fight for Tim but he ended up getting annihilated which didn't look good to even hard-core fans.

Leading up to the fight even on here people thought murta was gonna be an easy win

I just don’t get how anyone can think Murta is an easy fight
And maybe so but he needs some kind of change
Scenery , team , corner anything

Hard to say for sure if Tszyu can make it back into serious contention. He's taken a beating in not only the last 2 fights but in the Mendoza fight he was cracked hard and frequently even though he was putting more damage on Mendoza. It may have been all the damage that was done previously to the Murta-valeavianesian guy that contributed to how easily he got chin checked in that KO loss. If that's the case, I don't hold out much hope for Tim. He's not a defensive specialist. He's going to require a strong beard to keep fighting the way he did in his past.

Yup, which is why I think the best fight for Tszyu right now, is Errol Spence, a cross roads fight, see which b anged up fighter has left.

Edit: B a n g e d is censored? Come on boxingscene, get it together mane.

Tazoo needs a fringe contender after this fight to actually convince me he’s still in it

You don't like the Spence match up? I think it makes sense, they're both damaged goods, coming off Ls and are under the same promoter pbc. I wouldn't mind seeing it.
