For pure drama, skill and closeness it has to be Holy v Bowe 1. Bowe came physically and mentally prepared and showed a great set of skills inside and outside but Holy stuck with him. Holy's late rally when he looked like he was about to fall was awesome stuff and won him a legion of fans for his Warrior never-say-die mentality.

Holy-Tyson was a one-sided beat down made prominent by the mystique, that then still existed around Tyson, and the belief that Holy had past his best and was still suffering from heart problems.

Before the fight there was the token discussion about Tyson killing his opponent but Holy nulified a way past his best Tyson and ruffed him up and took his heart away, ironically, before dispensing with him in the later rounds.

I favor Cooper-Holyfield. Great momentum shifts, holfield showed how good his chin was and Cooper almost pulled off the upset as a sizable underdog. Just a tough, hard nosed fight.

Holmes-Norton was in 1978 I believe, Bowe-Holy was amazing also.
