Hopefully it's violent like the games, the more the gore the better.

Never understood why the old Mortal Kombat movies were so tame when it came to violence.

And I can understand why they’d introduce some new character like Cole. It’s hard for folks to identify with over the top characters like Scorpion, Kung-Lao or Goro.
Bring in a youngster who is labeled the chosen one and kids will eat that right up.
