"Union Man" admits he posted a fake video about losing his job at keystone pipeline

He claims he posted it for two friends that lost their jobs He didn't say that anywhere in the video. He's lying.

The acting was so bad that I seriously could not understand how anyone was believing this.

Like I told him I understand people will lose jobs. I voted for ***** knowing he would change course on the keystone pipeline. also understand to offset the massive deficit spending and the subsidies given to farmers because of the Trade War, taxes will surely go up.

IMO, these things are tolerable as long as the office is occupied by someone not Trump. ***** may prove he can't do the job. If that is the case, I will revisit it in 4 years. I KNOW Trump couldn't do the job so IMO almost any candidate the Dems ran other than Hilary I would've voted for this cycle. Hell, I may have even voted for Hilary this time so long as it meant Trump would lose.
I did a little research and it was exactly how I called it. Fake

OK. Proof that this was a fake. I still maintain there was a bigger issue for me.

However, now knowing this is fake shows that Charlie Kirk and Hew are just suckers that will grab hold of anything they can to exploit the situation. Just really a shame that this is how they and posters like 1bad, motherducker, and the rest of them behave.

They are so agenda driven that they jump at anything without doing any research. Then they only want to talk about positives if its someone who politically agrees with them and negatives if it is someone who doesn't.

Hopefully we all learned a little something from this.

This doesn't change my position. You're focused on one example that you're fighting to the death to defend, yet that doesn't change the big picture...that thousands will lose their jobs as a result of *****'s pen.

“Deeply disappointed,” said the head of the North American Building Trades Unions, which endorsed Mr. ***** in October. “Will kill thousands of good-paying #UNION jobs!” tweeted the Laborers’ International Union of North America. “Sadly, the ***** Administration has now put thousands of union workers out of work,” lamented the United Association of Union Plumbers and Pipefitters.

You know MCC, if you put as much effort in your professional life as you do arguing on the Internet, you'd be the next Jeff Bezos.

              From the Wall Street Journal:

Any doubt that the ***** Administration plans to slowly regulate fossil fuels out of existence vanished this week. First came the Keystone XL pipeline kill, but perhaps more significant is the 60-day freeze on new leases on federal lands and bureaucratic permitting. The pause could soon become a long-term ban.

Federal lands account for about 22% of U.S. oil production, 12% of natural gas and 40% of coal. When the ***** Administration slowed oil and gas permitting on federal land, drilling and exploration shifted to private land. The ***** Administration may shut that down too.

Start with the 60-day suspension on new leases on federal land. Producers in older oil and gas fields won’t be significantly affected, and many have already scaled back investment in places like California and Louisiana while pouring more into shale. But shale fracking occurs in large part on federal land in western states, and it continually requires new leases and investment.

Federal land accounts for 51.9% of New Mexico’s oil production and 66.8% of its natural gas, as well as a sizable share of gas extraction in Colorado (41.6%), Utah (63.2%) and Wyoming (92.1%). A federal leasing ban would cost some 18,000 jobs in Colorado, 33,000 in Wyoming and 62,000 in New Mexico by 2022, according to the American Petroleum Institute.

States would also lose hundreds of millions of dollars of mineral royalties that are shared by the feds. Oil and gas revenue accounts for 20% of New Mexico’s budget. Downstream suppliers like fracking sand mines in Wisconsin and steel manufacturers in Pennsylvania would also be hit . . .

                Superfans will be superfans.

Yup, he's focused on scoring his Gotcha! points in relation to one guy, yet ignores the fact that his team has put thousands of middle class Americans out of work via Executive Orders.

You know he'd be singing a different tune if the Dems had banned online wig sales via an Executive Order.

                    From the article above:

However, TC Energy Corp., the Canadian company that owns the pipeline, told PolitiFact that it estimates 1,000 people will be out of work as a direct result of *****'s order.

The company estimated about 10,400 U.S. jobs and 2,800 Canadian jobs would be created throughout the pipeline's construction, according to the company's project overview of the project. Meaning, only 1,000 of those projected jobs have been filled so far, according to TC Energy Corp.

Just so we have some actual information to discuss. Also here are the pros and cons:

Governing is about choices and compromise. ***** has made his decision on keystone. There are positives and negatives. Someone remind 1bad and Ghostof that just because you don't get what you wasn't doesn't mean its a bad thing.
