I don't get also. I'll share something that I've never put on the internet. In 2017 I tore my right coronary artery while I was playing basketball shortly after I was done lifting weights at the gym. I had no idea what was going on (heart attack). I couldn't breath so I just laid on the basketball court as guys would ask me whats going on. I had no clue, all I knew was I couldn't catch my breath for ****. If someone didn't alert me to the fact that my symptoms screamed it sounds like your heart and the fact the hospital was less than 5 minutes away i could've been a goner. I ended up having the tore artery, blood clot because of the artery tearing and the blood couldn't flow and a irregular heartbeat.

Point is I couldn't breath but could still communicate with the gym staff and guys I was playing with.

I don’t get it. Was that a plastic bag over his head? Are the guards afraid to catch rabies? I don’t get it

It's called a spit guard. When prisoners or someone arrested is spitting at cops or corrections officers they get the spit guard so they can't spread any potential germs or diseases.

          Boring

Media pulling out examples from months/years ago making sure it's a black man who dies with white cops to drive division and create a narrative.

I don't care about the deaths of drug riddled criminals.

I care about the deaths of innocent individuals, such as David
          Dorn.

Breonna Taylor is the only case that holds some water which is why all these protest people keep name dropping her. They stop mentioning the names of all the other people pretty fast. Fent Floyd will be forgotten soon enough.

said months ago nothing has changed and will change. The protests have done nothing but line the pockets of a few select individuals.

JESUS!! I just read the first sentence of this post... Pardon the pun but meant seriously... "My heart goes out to you!" What a traumatic thing to endure! I'm going to read the rest of your post now, glad you made it through my friend.

Your point is spot on... A lot of myths persist about human physiology. Another one is why we choke out so fast... If anyone thought about it for a minute... "gee I can hold my breath for more than 30 seconds, or so"... And... "gee if restricted blood flow to the brain shut us down that quick how could we possibly survive trauma and shock, instead of just be KO'ed by the situation." Many parts of the brain recieve very little blood in a fight, or flight scenario. In reality it is the change in pressure that dopes us out in a heartbeat, not oxygen, or sudden blood depreciation.

I hope you recovered well from your situation... Thanks for sharing, and indeed...It is a perfect example of breathing and the capacity to speak. Another one is poison that acts on the oxygen receptors in the blood. Cynide for example. Horrible way to go...

I appreciate your support man. I'm definitely better now. As I said before I had no clue what was going on. I was the type of person who thought lifting weights and playing basketball was enough to live healthy but I learned a valuable lesson that day.

Like you I see alot of post with members saying if you can talk, you can breath and having my experience i felt it was necessary to let people know that's not accurate. Hopefully people will be willing to have an open mind when it comes to such instances.

Take care man and thanks again for your support.

How about just a mouth guard then? Cops need better training and they also need to stop hiring such sadistic f**s for these jobs. There were 4 of them there, so they didn't need to keep so much pressure on. Ease up a little and give it some time, so the guy can calm down. It also said he was hog tied and cuffed, so what the hell was he gonna do?
Its a spithood. They use them to keep people from biting and spitting their bodily fluids at you. Theyre quite common.

I agree. I don't care so much about George Floyd or Jacob Blake.

The Taylor girl and Philandro Castile were messed up and wrong. I feel for them.

True, most of these so called martyrs that are killed by police are being used as pawns and will soon be forgotten. Look how quickly they moved on from that "jogger" killed by vigilantes in Georgia. Terror groups like ANTIFA and *** only serve one purpose, toss up the smoke and mirrors for civil unrest while collecting millions of dollars in funding from the sheep who support them.

Agree here man. I don't get why *** doesn't use that for examples. Instead they used God awful examples like Mike Brown or the guy that took a taser from a cop in Georgia, resisted and shot it in the face of one then got lit up.
