Why so emotional? Did you just learn about slavery in the U.S.? Was the Civil War specifically and exclusively fought over the moral issue of keeping ****** or was it fought over the broader issue of state's rights and the South's resistance to an increasingly more powerful central government? All countries have histories fraught with embarrassing, immoral stuff. Read and learn from it, but no need to get emotional.
