Im not a dog person but if i decided to take one in, it’s family, and families come first.

I would care more about my dog over a stranger. Frankly, i dont give a ***.

Which means youve saved a dogs life before a humans before.

Lol. Its okay, people always claim theyll do one thing but then do another. Its normal.
No sensible person would take a stranger into their home.

You're trying to make a moral issue out of this, it's ******.

NEVER trust any stranger to live in your house...... no one could even get to sleep at night knowing there was a stranger in their house.

        You're a complete tool.

The reason I reacted strongly to your post was because of personal experience..... my dog had its first vet stitches at 4 months old, right between the eyes, from a Collie..... she just went up and sat while the dog sniffed its face, then SNAP! horrible wound and vet appointement, cost me ?5.

Next one, walking down the street about 1 minute from my house, dog (pitbull) runs from behind me and goes for my dog, who then goes mental and slips the collar, rns away..... I have to then fight this pitbull and beat the **** out of it until the owner gets it off me. I don't stay around, I instantly chase after my dog who is running down a main road with oncoming cars......... managed to catch it eventually and get it home.

There have been other incidents, where I have had to step in to protect my dog....... in my experience, males do not bother with her, its females that go for her, as they see her as a challenge, males don't.

For sure I agree with the last bit.... me and you are different cultures and can't compare....... I can only say that if your dog ids off a lead, outside your yard or protection area..... it's you that is responsible, and your fault if it kills anything or injures anyone.
Thats the stories I am talking about. Its sad but there. Its just better to keep the small dogs in your yard. Their smaller so dont need the longer walks like bigger dogs. Get a fence and let it out and return inside. That reduced dog attacks on your dog by 98%.

You cant trust other owners or other dogs. Dogs are just like humans. When one barks to another they are having a conversation but you dont know what they are saying. All we can do is read body language.

Na.... again, my dog has made friends with the biggest dog in my area since she was 3 months.....

Me and you live in different cultures and that is cool..... we will never agree lol

I will apologise right now for the name-calling and insults..... I was drinking and there was no need for that..... you have my full apology and respect brother.... and I sincerely mean that )

I like the long-walks with my dog though...... Stonehaven woods or similar woodland areas.....
Cavaliers are great dogs...... they can walk for miles and love the outdoors..... but then the problem comes when a big dog comes in her face (yeah, comes in her face)

Sometimes I have to whip my **** out and fight the dog..... it's just weird!

I'm still struggling with his concept.

Why is everything dying unless I bring it in to my house?

Erm, alright mate. But..my post was aimed at Hew and backing up an actual point you were making.

Hew is saying you save a dog over a human if you take one into your house.

Even suspending disbelief and anthropomorphising a dog and not addressing a billion other variables. Both can survive without us.

This thread is becoming quite dear to me, lol.
