During deep meditation something really odd happened

After spending a few hours reading and self developing by exploring the ways of dharma something came to me. It was a light, a bright light. I think I may have been close to Nirvana.

    The message was simple:

May we all be well, happy and peaceful, May no harm come to us.
May we all also have patience, courage, understanding, and determination to meet and overcome inevitable difficulties, problems, and failures in life.

May our parents, our teachers and mentors, our friends and may all living beings across the world...be well, happy and peaceful. May no harm come to them.

May they also have patience, courage, understanding, and determination to meet and overcome inevitable difficulties, problems, and failures in life.

Don't know if you're close to "nirvana"; but I'd say you're on the right path.

Well I was baptised a Christian.

But I would consider myself agnostic. For years I thought I was atheist, however, I have come to realise that atheist is purely ignorant.

In short, I neither believe nor disbelieve in a god or religious doctrine. I put science first, however, I am not qualified or knowledgeable enough to say for certain a god or religious doctrine does/doesn’t exist.

If I was leaning towards one religion it would be buddhism. I am reading a lot about it everyday and I do like how their is no ideology involved with it other than living a peaceful and meaningful life but when you scratch the surface you begin to see some untold truths of the religion that I don’t agree with it.

That being said, I still don’t know enough!

            Are you religious?
