yup couple other threads about this already but seems alot of people who have the older version ps3s are all seing this happen. sony is tryin to get this fixed

No, I'm just not a moron who realizes that in order for Data to be sent in packets from one system to the other, there has to be an open port for the data to flow through the PSN network. That won't be possible since the bug disabled the ability to sign on to the PSN network

So it's really not even rocket science.
