Canelo IS flat-footed but he's also probably the best in the business at cutting off the ring and landing combinations. In other words, he always seems to find a way to get to his man and unload damage. Also, don't forget that Mayweather probably had the best footwork and movement in the business and...

That’s what I said before…GGG beat him twice and received a draw and a loss whereas according to CompuBox, Bivol landed double the number of punches and outlanded him in ALL 12 rounds yet was only awarded victory by the narrowest of margins (115-113 on all 3 cards). He also received a draw...Last edited by HisExcellency; Yesterday, 03:11 AM.

Tbh I think it was a combination of BOTH...Bud definitely seemed 'uncomfortable' with some of Madrimov's punches but was also confused by his awkward amateur style as you already pointed out. Also, if you look at the CompuBox stats, Crawford only landed 11 punches more overall. Therefore, it remains...Last edited by HisExcellency; 06-25-2025, 03:28 PM.

Gamboa wobbled him a few times at Lightweight whereas Kava dropped him at Welterweight. Therefore, it remains to be seen how Crawford's chin holds up 2 weight divisions higher than he's currently fighting at against Canelo who can definitely punch. Crawford also seemed a little gun-shy against Madrimov...Last edited by HisExcellency; 06-25-2025, 02:52 PM.

Lol GGG was 35yo when he defended his Middleweight belts against Canelo which is exactly the SAME age as Cotto who was also making a title defence. Kovalev was 36yo. So what's the difference? Obviously GGG is the superior fighter and a generational talent but Cotto was fighting in his fourth weight...Last edited by HisExcellency; 06-25-2025, 02:23 PM.

So? Crawford fought Spence after a life-changing car crash and years of hard partying yet he's still considered an elite fighter. In fact, it's abundantly clear that he was at the END of his career as he hasn't fought since!
Therefore, it's only right to consider Kovalev an elite...

Lol if Spence is considered elite than Kovalev, Mosley & Cotto have to be considered elite too! Also, both Kovalev & Cotto were defending champions at the time they faced Canelo regardless of their age....Last edited by HisExcellency; 06-25-2025, 01:50 PM.

Khan's chin was actually holding up pretty well for half the fight until Canelo landed a bazooka with his full body weight behind it. Anyway, it'll be interesting to see how Crawford handles Canelo's power because although he has a pretty SOLID chin, we've seen him do the stanky leg against Gamboa and...

He's RIGHT...Spence is the only elite fighter Crawford has ever faced whereas Burns & Postol are nothing special at all.
Meanwhile, Canelo has faced GGG (thrice), Bivol, Mayweather, Cotto, Mosley & Kovalev who are all elite fighters.joesaiditstrue

Disagree...the Benavidez fight might be wishful thinking but I don't think the Bivol rematch is totally out of the question if Canelo wins. Surely Canelo will want to avenge that loss especially with ALL the belts on the line if Bivol beats Beterbiev again. Also, Canelo is only 34yo so still has a few...

I believe that Turki would much rather Canelo wins because he's way more marketable than Crawford who sells next to NO PPVs/tickets in comparison. Also, a Canelo win could set up a Bivol rematch or fight with Benavidez whereas Crawford doesn't have any other similar intriguing fights lined up if he...

Lol true but remember that according to CompuBox, Bivol outlanded Canelo 152 vs. 84 punches overall and in ALL 12 rounds yet was only awarded victory by the narrowest of margins (115-113 on all 3 scorecards). Therefore, imagine how dominant Crawford needs to be in order to win the undisputed championship?...El_Mero likes this.
