Algieri is right - everyone lost on this fight, and on top of that both fighters are now whining about not getting their PPV money. So it’s like there was no real purpose to the first fight. Besides, as much as I’d actually like to see them literally in the ring fighting each other in a rematch, everything leading up to that moment - the pre-fight drama, Garcia’s erratic behavior. Bill Haney’s obnoxiousness and money-grubbing Devin’s lack of personality and charisma - would be too exhausting to be worth the actual fight.

Haney might have real grounds for a lawsuit. Losing to a weight cheat and PED user drastically affected his income, as seen by the purse bid for him and Sandor Martin.

        I think that they will.

Huggies is turning into the lawfare queen now? Maybe he does. One thing is for sure, you won’t see him in the ring again with a pre 30 yo top 5 fighter. He is ruined, his image is ruined and his glass jaw that was once suspected has been exposed.

Why is Haney the bad guy to you, instead of the cheater Ryan Garcia?

I hope not. Haney should just continue to do what he is doing now and that is suing the living Hell out of Ryan Garcia. Who is now an admitted and world renown doper and drug cheat because chances are Devin Haney might not be the same fighter again. He could have been seriously hurt in that ring against Ryan Garcia. So name me an elite fighter who wants to fight King Ry now without the most stringent of Olympic style random drug testing?

I remember the elation when Cotto got his revenge on Margarito, I would think Haney would love to beat Ryan, doubt the fight would happen again but if Haney ran it back he should demand ultra-strict testing and a massive weight forfeit like Manny wanted 10mill against Floyd something like that or more, and if he beat Ryan under those conditions the first fight like Margarito/Cotto would be classed as a cheat beating, if it stands as it is and Ryan rides of into the sunset then he will kind of keep the win.

As well as he should. Ryan Garcia’s conduct that night was not only borderline criminal but a reckless and tortious act as well. Haney should sue him for all its worth. I have very little sympathy for Ryan Garcia. Don’t kid yourself! Name me one good, undefeated and elite fighter who would want to fight Ryan Garcia now after he has admitted to have deliberately taken Ostarine as part of his plea bargain deal with the New York State Athletic Commission? This fight has irreparably tarnished and stained Ryan Garcia’s reputation forever.

Haney should just Unify with Paro. Or move up to 147.
