I really rate these two, I think that both at their best were superb fighters, easy top 5 pound for pound in the world for several years.

I certainly think they are two of the best Mexican fighters of all time. Both of course were inconsistent........but they could be amazing too.

As for who was best, I'm going in the likely minority and say Barrera by a whisker. Most will rate Morales higher despite him losing the series with Barrera.

Good fighters but IMO not as good as J.J.Marquez or J.C.Chavez

They are top 5-10 for sure.I think barrera was the more talnted fighter whereas morales has the edge on him in terms of resume

Morales beat 2 fighters that Barrera couldn't beat: Pacquiao and Junior Jones. I rank Morales higher and both at around #'s 10-15.
