Former European cruiserweight champion Leonardo Mosquea, 16-0 (9 KOs), could take a significant step towards a world title shot when he takes on Argentina's Ivan Gabriel Garcia, 10-3-1 (10 KOs) in a 10-rounder tomorrow in Lyon, France.

The vacant WBA regional strap that's on the line in the 10-rounder is only significant because whoever claims it is likely to square off against Arsen Goulamirian, ranked No. 3 by the sanctioning body, in a final eliminator for the belt currently held by Gilberto Ramirez.

France's Mosquea, who was born in the Dominican Republic is now ranked No. 3 by the WBA at cruiserweight. He scored the most significant victory of his career in December when he outpointed Cheavon Clarke over 12 rounds to win the EBU belt.
