Krystal Rosado collected the first win of a loaded fight week in New York City.

The unbeaten Puerto Rican bantamweight effortlessly outpointed Argentina’s Agustina Vazquez over four, three-minute rounds. Puerto Rico’s Rosado prevailed by scores of 40-36 on all three cards on a show that aired live Tuesday on Netflix’s YouTube channel from The Oculus at the World Trade Center.

Even with the extra minute in each round, Rosado didn’t waste any time to get to work. The 22-year-old protégé of Amanda Serrano – who faces undisputed 140lbs champ Katie Taylor, 24-1 (6 KOs) this Friday on Netflix from Madison Square Garden – immediately jumped on Vazquez, determined to prover her in-ring superiority.

The jab was working for Rosado but her most impactful moment through two rounds came courtesy of a left hook. The shot clipped Vazquez and prompted Rosado to intensify her attack. Vazquez managed to hold her ground and even fight back towards the back half of the frame.

Rosado quickly adjusted and repeatedly caught Vazquez in the third. A classic one-two combination snapped back the head of Vazquez, which prompted Rosado to go on the attack and continue to slam home her right hand.

The fourth and final round didn’t get any easier for Vazquez, who was pinned against the ropes as Rosado scored both to the head and body. Vazquez attempted to clinch her way out of trouble before she put up an effort to fight back during the final 90 seconds. Rosado maintained her composure and stuck with what worked as she punched her way to her latest win.

Rosado advanced to 7-0 (2 KOs) with the win, while Vazquez fell to 4-4-2 (0 KOs).

Rosado-Vazquez was part of a two-fight card that preceded an open media workout for the abovementioned Taylor-Serrano III Netflix card this Friday.

The card also saw Elise Soto go the distance for the first time but maintain her perfect record with a hard-fought split decision win over Colleen Davis.

Their entertaining four-round featherweight rematch saw Davis earn a 39-37 tally on one card, overruled by the same score (39-37, 39-37) to Soto.

The bout came two months after they fought to a No-Contest when a head clash left Davis with a cut and unable to continue after two rounds. It marked the first time that Soto, 8-0 (7 KOs) with one No-Contest, was extended beyond the opening round as a pro.

Tuesday's sequel was the first time to the scorecards for the 20-year-old prospect, who tried to catch Davis early but found herself in a slugfest. Davis, 4-3-1 (1 KO), a 34-year-old from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, pushed through a cut over her left eye to trade with Soto throughout and force her unbeaten opponent to sweat out the narrow verdict.

Soto and Rosado are both managed by Serrano. Tuesday's bout marked Soto's first win on U.S. soil; her previous seven victories took place in Colombia and the Dominican Republic. Her stateside debut was the first meeting with Davis, which was held in Orlando, Florida.
