As a puertorican I obviously want Lopez to win. And even tho I accept Marquez is not in his prime. He is a crafty veteran who would but probably shouldnt be the underdog. As this is Lopezs biggest name. Also , Marquez is not in his prime , but still in his prime , he was not that great. He reached elite status. He was at the top of the class. But his wars with Vazquez put both of them on the map. I like to think because they were so equally matched. Also because they are mexicans , and the mexican style of fighting (sacrificing 2 for 1) is always exciting.

He has power. He has a great chin. I dont like his movement. He does not bob and weave. and does not box. He likes to attack , and pressure like most mexican boxers. And since Lopez loves exchanging , Marquez and we all know marquez is a master at that , Lopez might find it too hard to resist , and he can lose very easily in this fight.

Lopez needs to be told seriously , that he has the boxing ability to dictate the pace , and wear the battle worn champion down instead of risking it all. I rather see a Lopez that outclasses marquez , because he will give marquez more of a chance , since he is not exchanging ******ly. And also because I think Lopez has the skills , legs and knowledge to outbox marquez for the first half , pick his spots , and then go for the kill. He is very capable of that.

I have seen the hard hitting Juanma against bums , and against good opposition. I have seen the calm Lopez against only Luevano.

I want to see more of Juanma controlling the pace of the fight , doing it smart. I think it would be awesome for him.

Creo que subestiman a Rafa Marquez, el estilo del e veneno pa lo zurdo, el poder del e fenomenal, y no creo que esta tan acabado como creen. Voy a poner evidencia pa que vean porque pienso asi.

En las 3 peleas en contra ello, Marquez eventualmente encotraba la solucion y lo ponia en malas condiciones al final.



Olvidense de la condicion de Vazquez, Marquez se vio similar de rapidez como siempre y el manejo de pies aun mejor que antes.

La pelea se va pelear adonde Juanma quiera si quiere pelear adentro o a la distancia, pero Rafa pelea bien en cualquiera de los 2. Lopez pelea mejor adentro y es mejor pelear a Rafa de cerca, pero el problema es que yo no creo que Lopez aguante el poder de Rafa. Si Lopez pelea a distancia e mejor, pero creo que Marquez eventualmente encuentra la solucion.

Lo mas que dure la pelea, lo mejor para Marquez. Si Lopez va ganar e porque lo noqueo temprano o a mitad de pelea.

I think a Prime Marquez beats JuanMa. This version of Marquez and at this weight I think JuanMa got it. I believe he left his best stuff in the ring during the Vazquez fights.

Although JuanMa would've always had a chance with his power (which I believe is better than Vazquez's) I don't think he would've been able to endure what Vazquez did to win.

como mexicano le voy a marquez pero creo que la juventud de lopez es la clave a la pelea. aunque lopez, si vieron la pelea contra concepcion, tambien cae facilmente. muchos diran (boricuas) que fue un golpe de regalo (luck)...pero la realidad es que lopez estuvo en la lona. asi que, creo que sera una pelea donde lopez aprendera demasiado! que gane el mejor.
