damn sorry to hear bro. how long on average do they last once diagnosed with stage 4 C?

one of our co-workers wives thought she had the rona like around September 2020 and come to find out she had stage 4 C of the lungs and brain like Screech did. So doctor said she had 6 months to live. So fast forward to today February 2021 this is her 5th month since then. So F Man U can imagine how things are right now with that co-worker and the tension around them right now.

The ones I knew lasted less than 2 months after the diagnose. If the doctor gave her 6 months, it’s most likely 8-12 months. They usually under estimate

Im from the CHI, grew up in the CHI but live out in LA now. One of my girls who's born and raised in LA told me that she had a Disneyland annual pass and would always see Screech there riding rides solo and everyone would notice him.

Someone here posted he did that to pick up girls from Disneyland, shoot I'd do that too if I was a kid tv star wouldn't you???

Sucks he couldn't parlay the SBTB fame into anything else like the rest of the cast did.

I remember watching one of my favorite comics interviewed, Russell Peters, he was explaining how most of Hollywood runs in clicks so if you not in the power clicks u not doing any of their movies or tv shows. Russell was saying he's friends with Adam Sandler and all them but never rolled with their clicks thats why he Russell never blew up in movies.

I think had Screech clicked up with some bigger names he would have been alright. Someone at work told us that Screech used to be roommates with that Twilight movie star, the one who's the new Batman. Screech should have clicked up with him back then when they was roommates.

Screech bragged about picking up over 100 girls at Disneyland lol. I'd be doing the same thing too.

I been reading some of the articles after he passed, it's pretty heartbreaking to read. His girlfriend found him in the morning not breathing, so she called 911. That was how he found out he had cancer. He already found a lump on his neck over a year ago, but the sad thing was that he didn't want to see a doctor cause he knew he would get recognized and he thought people would make fun of him.

He was getting heckled his whole adult life so he had a lot of insecurities. Didn't seem happy with life. Screech was always the black sheep out of the cast, and was never part of that inner circle Hollywood clique that you're talking about.

Sucks to hear cause he seemed like a good guy outside of the Saved by the Bell drama. I don't know if you were ever a wrestling fan, wrestlers Edge and Christian met him back in 2000 and almost got into a fight with him lmao. But it was just a misunderstanding and they realized Screech was a pretty cool guy, he just thought they were making fun of him. This gives a good perspective of the kind of guy he was:

According to "Captain Charisma," he once met Diamond and called him by the "Screech" name, which apparently led to what could be described as a "heated argument."

So, [Edge] kind of goes, 'hey,' so [Edge], who is a bit of a hothead here, he goes, 'hey, mother effer,' he goes, 'he's not trying to be a ****! He loves Saved By The Bell. He's a huge fan!' And Screech goes, 'oh man, I'm sorry. I thought you were making fun of me.' I was like, 'no, I wasn't.' So then, we started talking to him and we kind of hit it off and had a pretty funny conversation, and that was that. That's my Screech story."

REALLY? DAMN! WTF? Why do docs underestimate? So the families get everything in order quicker or something?

I heard if u get chemo during stage 4 theres a chance the chemo actually kills you since its stage 4? I think thats why Screech died so fast?

That co-workers wife refused to do chemo so she went the pill route and they bought all these expensive pills and she's been doing that instead.

Doctors don’t wanna be blamed lol... imagine telling someone they had 2 years to live and the person dies way before that. The family might have some sort of regrets of not accomplishing everything with that person and might hold a grudge towards the doctor.

Now if the doctor said the person only has 3 months to live and the person outlived that, everyone in the families will feel the person fought hard and “outlive” his/her time.

where did screech brag about picking up 100 girls from Disneyland? Is that like in an interview or tell all book or something?

Man if im keep it 100, lot of the times I go to Disneyland solo just to ride rides in the single rider lines, mad chicks always be thirsty and flirting. I mean the level of hotness varies thats for sure but lets say if you go 10 times maybe you'll see a thirsty 8/10 in the single rider line like 70% of the time. I tell all my single friends to get an annual pass to Disneyland(pre rona of course) and they look at me like WTF? Im like no bro theres mad thirsty single chicks up in that piece!

So you take a guy like screech who's a former kid star former tv star rolling to Disneyland and u got all kinds of thirsty chicks especially from out of state I definitely believe he pulled 100 chicks from there!

Yeah I heard the same thing he had the lump for a while but was scared if he went to the doctor then people would take pics and sell it to the tabloids and make fun of him. Thats awful way to live. Prob if he went asap he found the lump he'd still be alive today.

This is why I think FAME is horrible and I see wannabe actors and wannabe rockstars chasing fame like WTF? Its better to be moderately successful cop the bag but be unknown so you aint a target everywhere you go.

In this day in age where we got all these podcasters making crazy bread I think if screech did a podcast tell all he'd make a ton of money doing that. Like telling his stories about bagging 100 chicks from Disneyland and maybe throwing Hollywood jerks under the bus.

Im not sure if I buy his explanation on how he got lung cancer tho? He says he thinks he got it from staying in ****** run down hotels. It seems for him to catch it that way he'd have to be like inhaling the asbestos like daily. Maybe if this is true this is another reason to always treat yourself and stay at a nicer hotel while on vacay?

Yeah, it was on an interview or book, but he definitely mentioned all the girls he picked up at Disneyland.

Damn man, I need to get a Disneyland annual pass now lol. It's only a two hour drive for me. Off topic, but I definitely wanted to get the Six Flags annual pass last year, but Covid f**ked that up. It's only a little more than a single day pass and I think you get free parking and a free large soda every time you go. So if you only go twice in one year, you get more than your money's worth.

I agree money > fame. Screech should have definitely started his own podcast. He has a lot of interesting stories. And Celebrity boxing is a bigger now, and he already fought almost 20 years ago. Imagine Screech vs. Zack or Mario Lopez lmao. I'd pay Pac-Floyd PPV money to see that hahaha.

I don't really buy the hotel thing either, I mean you would have to actually live in a place like that to get that much exposure to get cancer. But I'm no expert, maybe his body was just sensitive to any exposure and he was one of the unlucky ones.

Oh man that makes sense bro! Doctors always covering their arses. It sucks cuz I dont wanna be around that co-worker when she passes, its gonna be too much.

My bosses are trying to send me to that business trip in Miami next month the one that kept getting canceled and pushed back due to the rona, so next month is also the month she was predicted to die too. So im like I kinda wanna be out of town around then anyway.

So out of all the people you knew who was stage 4 all of them died within 2 weeks u said right? Did any make it like way longer like another year or two?

Yeah 2-4 weeks.. I don’t know anybody personally who made it more than a month. But I’ve only known 3

Yeah, my dad died of cancer and in the end they stopped giving him chemotherapy because by a certain points more detrimental and kills you quicker. That’d probably more ideal though, speed up the process because you’re literally just waiting to die by that point anyway.
