I get that. But when you have so many gays and lesbians and ********** running and winning I think for most rational people it’s about the best candidate.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a major candidate from Miami’s, New York or San Fran is a ****** in 2022.

My usual take would be that people should not be voting for the person but for policy. Or if it is the person then for actual expertise.

Gordon Brown was boring as all hell. I'd vote for him all day long because in a sea of dummies he was actually a technocrat

So in one sense it is like Black Mirror when the prime minister is just a cartoon bear or whatever it is - what difference would it make?

I dunno if it is the catholic in me coming out but I just cant help but see a lot of this trans stuff as body dysmorphia. Not to be a hippy but if you loved your kids completely why would they then want to identify as something else.

Top answer OP, I'd support a transwhateveritis if his/her policies were sound and they seemed mentally stable. At the end of the day any politician's job is to deliver on policy, the other stuff is secondary.
