    Should Tank be cancelled?

    Gervonta was wearing Mexican flag colors as he walked to the ring, in an obvious attempt to insult and ridicule Mexicans.


    That’s racist.

    Why aren’t we cancelling him?


    Imagine if say a white American boxer was wearing Nigerian flag colors as he going to fight an African fighter.
    Internet would claim that’s racist.

    Nah it’s not that serious, you gotta have thick skin in a sport like this. I will say it’s unoriginal as fück just like when Errol did it. Floyd did it against DLH in a legit super fight, not against an overmatched opponent.

        If anything, he's trying to be loved by the Mexicans.

        They make up most of the boxing fans in that region.

        Don't turn Mexicans into Americans.

        Americans are sensitive and try to turn any gesture that they do not agree with into something that it was not intended to be by saying it is not politically correct...

                  Floyd did the same thing. Tank is trying to use his model for success. I doubt many fans actually give a shyt. At some point the Tank hype train will be derailed. He can’t fight overmatched opponents forever, at some point he will need to see Teo, Loma, Haney, Shakur.
