The devil doesn't seem to believe in humanity the way God does. The devil seems to believe humanity is a mistake, and that at our core we have no faith, no honor, that we succumb to lust and greed and depravity.

God said to Satan, to look upon Job, a man with integrity and faith. Satan said, it is easy to be faithful, when You have protected him and blessed all his works.

Then God removed His protection from Job and told Satan to go after him with all his power. The devil destroyed everything Job had and plagued his body, but he couldn't touch Job's spirit.

This is entirely hypothesis and conjecture... but for anything to exist , it has to exist in duality.

For example, light and dark exist because they are opposite spectrums of each other, defining each other. If there was no light, then there would be no such thing as dark, it would just be nothingness.

If in the infinite endlessness of reality, consciousness formed, and that consciousness became an omniscient presence, which is God... then light as well as dark would equally exist in that omniscience.

For God to be a perfect being, full of Good, and love and faith.. then He had to cast aside and separate that darkness. That's what I think Satan is. The separation of all that is bad from all that is good.

Yes people are taught to accord to actions that are more characteristic of evil than goodness. And if we apply the slightest common sense, we can see that we are not here a long time, life is always full of challenges, so why would one waste so much time and energy getting more and more income, having more houses, and indulging in more things?

There is a great movie about the Devil. I actually think Pacino nailed it... It is called "the devil's advocate" made in 1997 co starring Keuna Reeves. I think if you would check this out? you would get a very nuanced aspect of the devil. Pacino just nails it...

It's a great movie. I saw it when it came out. But many things from the movie didn't register until I got older and experienced what he/they are capable of first hand

My favorite part was when pacino is describing to reeves how little he had protested as he was stepping up the ladder as a lawyer, and how he talks about "not forcing him" when reeves was tempted. That to me is the thing about the movie that makes it so great. Pacino shows us how easy it is to not examine the consequences of our actions lol.

The question is: WAS Reeves as the lawyer truly ignorant? And when Pacino calls God a Sadist an absentee Landlord, it makes one think... What is the cost of our free will? does the Devil truly love man? and want the best for him? I say No. pacino is selfish and interested in his own fortunes ultimately.

So when we get people who are tempted by the Devil, real, or imagined, are they ignorant? or are they truly evil in some respect? I see it like this: Ignorance leads to evil ways.

The devil masquerades as an angel of light. In other words all of the worldly things that you think are righteous to fight for are actually evil. Perfect example is gay marriage, ***** causes, ******** and socialism/communism. To the world it is noble to make it mainstream and acceptable, but in reality it is a deception from the depths of hell. Satan rules this world, and uses people because they're weak and evil. He's even dividing us now between Right and Left, ********** and ********, and we are all too weak to not fall for it. Everytime someone makes a racist, insulting, or divisive posts its Satan behind that person typing it out, we are all guilty.

Sometimes its even as trivial as the boxer we root for. Whats more unimportant than insulting another human being and their worth over what fighter that person supports. If you think about it, its not only wrong its down right ****** and evil. We occupy our time and worth fighting over things that have absolutely no barring on our salvation, a distraction to make sure we dwell deeper into making sure we make it into hell.

I know the Bible says love thy enemy, but it's really hard with his knee in your neck... For hundreds of years, literally and figuratively

The bible also says, “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."

In other words its real easy to not be the bigger man. The most terrifying part of that passage is the overwhelming amount of people are doomed.

Nat Turner spoke about how Bible verses were used to keep us enslaved (mentally/physically) and to literally love the one's responsible for so much mischief publically and privately... It's hard man.

Lmao and godfather says to keep your friends close but enemies closer.
I guess the knee on George Floyd’s neck isn’t what Godfather was referring to.
