My question is:
How is cutting weight gonna effect my boxing performance, in terms of power, speed , footwork and condition?
I am 16 years old.
178 cm / 5.84 feet
about 90kg / 198 lbs
I looked up ideal weight on the internet which should be around 60kg-76kg (132-167 lbs).
I'm not bulky but not skinny either( muscle wise) so I should be around 70 kg area ( 154 -165 area).
I feel like something is holding me back in terms of speed, agility and overall 'lightness'. Could cutting that useless 15+ kg /33 lbs have a rather big impact on my performance?
