Floyd Patterson. I'm a short-ass like him, only shorter!

Well, I should have phrased that in the past tense, as I am no longer boxing due to old age.

and the best part about watching Toney spar, Darkstranger, is how he **** talks the entire time...aside from his world class defense

Floyd again, is another gifted athlete who makes the shoulder roll work for him. James Toney's another one who seems to just have this natural gift of rolling punches and instantly countering. Check out some of his sparring vids on Youtube, James Toney's shoulder rolls are just rediculous!
yeah toney is quality at the shoulder roll!!
i think being able to use skills like that are down to natural gifts more than anyhting else.
thats the reason i use a basic guard and not these fancy defences lol.

Slipping, rolling, bobbing and weaving are basic boxing skills and are not too difficult to learn. If you can't do them you shouldn't be boxing.

well done to everyone who saw how ridiculous this question was. hate for everyone whos like 'err yeah i fight like cotto.' no. you dont.

I fight how i get told to fight. i improve by listening to my trainer and learning through sparring and practice, not by copying what i see on tv.

I am copying me. I have a short reach and height. I fight with a peekaboo stance. So...I'm a in-fighter with a granite chin that bobs, weaves and jabs to get inside and attacks with fury.

and no I'm not saying that I'm copying mike tyson.

this is the best style for me.
