Even if there is a Rocky moment, the judges will ensure that the script is followed....just like when George was gifted a win over Maxi Hughes so he could be offered on a plate to Lomachenko. I believe Kambosos is supposed to get smoked by Shakur next (?) so we can't have him losing beforehand.

Really needed to change his name after his 2 performances against Haney...

He's supposed to fight Richardson Hitchens next, not Shakur Stevenson. He's done at 135.

He's a pretty basic fighter but you can't knock him for taking big fight after big fight, even if he loses most of them. The man went from fighting nobodies to fighting Mickey Bey, Lee Selby, Teofimo Lopez, Devin Haney, Devin Haney again, Maxi Hughes, and Vasiliy Lomachenko all consecutively. I had him losing the Hughes fight as well, but even being 3-4 against those guys is pretty impressive for a guy who has less talent than any of them.

Pardon, that's it...Hitchens. Thank you for the correction. That's who I was thinking of. Hitchens was on the DAZN broadcast recently talking about the matchup with George.

I don't dislike Kambosos, he's managed to have a helluva career considering his talent. He came to fight that night when Teo didn't. His being from Australia has certainly helped him stay relevant as he can bring good purses fighting back home. Because he's fairly marketable and limited, he makes an attractive opponent for the top guys.

lol, I feel like his own moment against Teo was a Rocky moment. I don't think anyone thought he was going to win that fight. He barely too. People seem to forget, he was dropped bad himself late in the fight. He's lucky he banked enough rds to get the nod since the knockdown made up for his flash knockdown of Teo in rd1. That fight set his career up for all the big purses that followed. I guess I can't knock him for trying when nobody was giving him a chance. I just think his 15 minutes of fame has been long up.
