If you knock someone down twice with the same punch, it's an automatic stoppage. The rules weren't applied. They never are with Americans and Mexicans. They change to suit.

I had Ramirez winning by 2 on my card when it went the distance too. But Espinoza got the decision. You could win every round and it's still not enough. They do whatever they have to to get the Mexican or American win. Just look at the weekend again. Barboza was dominated but got the robbery. Garcia came in 4 lbs over weight to gain an advantage on a Goldenboy promotion. It's all cheating. I'm just shocked Scrappy didn't get the robbery as well.

This all started when Hama's invaded and murdered hundred's of people. Not forgetting all the disgusting acts of brutal **** they inflicted. They had the full support of the ************ as well.

Look into why none of the other ****** countries want the ************ anywhere near their country.

I am unaware of this rule, do you have any source I can look up on this?

On points though Espinoza clearly won, he easily swept the first 4 rds, he got decked in the fifth, lost a couple rds after that then won the championship rds.

Awful the way McComb was robbed, it could easily have been scored a shutout for him.

I've just looked and i can't see the rule anywhere. I thought this was regulation. But i guess not. They even used it in the Tyson/Berbick and Tzsyu/ Judah fights. Maybe it's just a couple of commissions, i don't know.

I disagree about the scoring aspect though. Ramirez took it close. Espinoza was hitting gloves far too much and not landing in the scoring area's. It's happening too much with that. Judges should know what is and isn't a scoring area.

That is the same argument that Hopkins fans used in the fight with Calzaghe, as if Joe has to win the rds and Hopkins by virtue of being there automatically gets the benefit unless Joe does damage. While effective punches should weigh the most in scoring so do the number of punches in their absence. This is straight from the ABC website I looked at a while ago for reference in another discussion. Espinoza also scored a KD of his own late in the fight.

Oh i'm not looking at the punches to wobble them or mark them up or anything for them to be effective. I'm just asking for the punches to actually land either on the body or head. If they hit the arms or gloves, that's a blocked shot. Throwing plenty of shots is all well and good. But they do have to land. Ramirez threw less but landed more on scoring area's. Espinoza just threw more.
