Really? It's going to be for the undisputed HW championship of the world! If they can't promote this fight to sell a mint, the sport is in serious trouble. The Saudis should be very interested in funding it.

I mean the PPV numbers . The Saudis are interested is the overall general masses of boxing fans ? Ngannou is way more known then Usyk is , the casual fan really dont know who Usyk is despite fighting Joshua twice .

A mega fights appeal is determined by the two fighters imop I don’t see Usyk as a good dance partner for Fury . Frankie boy better stack that card just in case .

First, I cannot blame Ngannou for not wanting to fight Zhang or anyone on that short of notice. However, regardless of if they fought on the 23rd or on the Fury/Usyk undercard (I'd love to see this) Zhang would most likely KO him. Chances are though it will not happen. I am sure Ngannou will hold out for a Fury rematch and his team wants him going nowhere near Zhang.

Also he is gonna be waiting a long time for a Fury rematch. Assuming Fury beats Usyk twice

Ngannou has the fury rematch with a wilder fight yet wilder is coming to pfl so possibly 2 fights like that was originally talked about a total of 75m to be made max why waste in when its all but guaranteed

I hope Zhang gets better advisors/promoters (Warren is just a "co promoter" and Zhang is probably down on his list of importance). Seems Zhang is promised all these big fights but negotiations fall through. Zhang doesn't have time on his side, and he's definitely in the "who needs him club", high risk low reward (China boxing market is tiny, otherwise why would they have to do the Joyce rematch in a small UK arena?) Instead of trying to get a Ngannou fight (makes no sense for Ngannou), his promoters should've got him on the Dec 23rd card with a stay busy fight.

He inherited Joyce's hype, and in the same exact way people are now ignoring the very obvious flaws in Zhangs game.

He's a useful fighter and I'd love to see him do well but he's as likely to age overnight and lose vs a routine tune up opponent as he is to win a version of the title.
